Closure

Dwayne's POV

Medyo masakit ang ulo ko nung magising ako. Hangover.

Buti na lang at nataon na Day Off ko ngayon.

Nagayos ako ng sarili at bumaba.
Pumunta ako ng kusina dahil baka nandon si mama.

"Jackie?"

"Good Morning Handsome! Breakfast is ready, c'mon. You have to eat. How are you feeling?"

"I'm kinda dizzy but i'm okay. Where's mama anyway?" Lumapit ako sa kanya at pumunta sa plato-han.

"Just sit there mister and i'll serve you, your food. I cooked this"

"Really? Is it delicious?"

"Try it yourself" nilapag nya yung mga pagkain sa harap ko.

Andami. I tried one of her dishes.
I smiled when i like the taste of it.

"This is amazing"

"Really? Thank you! I know you'll like it"

Inubos ko yun para naman maging okay ako kahit papano.

Nanood lang kami ng movie sa bahay at kumain. Ayoko muna lumabas.

I'm totally not in the mood to go out.

"Dwayne. Your dad is calling" napalingon ako kay mama na galing sa taas.

Lumapit ako sakanya para kuhanin yung phone ko.

I slide the green icon which is the answer button.

"Hello, dad"

("Son, what happened to the deal? Did they meet you up already?")

"Yes, dad. Yesterday"

("Oh, okay. Did it go well?")

"I-i think so, dad"

("Okay. The secret to make them agree with the deal is to get their heart")

"Yes dad, i probably will"

Get their heart? Sht. Then what? After that. They'll just refuse every effort that i will give.

But it's okay. Maybe this is the right thing.

I don't think having a revenge is a good idea. It might wreck me as i wreck her but if i do. Will she be wreck too? I think that's impossible. She's married. She'll never going to like me again and besides, i already have Jackie with me.

She never left like jack did.
She never wreck my heart like jack did. Infact, she was just trying to complete me. She was just understanding me. I hope. She'll stay the same. She was saving me from all of the heart ache that i gain from jack.

If that deal would give me our closure. Then i'll do it. Not just for myself but for everyone around me. Mostly. For Jackie.

I needed this closure. I wanted this closure. I hope, i do. I hope. This could work out.
