"What is it, Kokoru?" Momoru asked as she noticed her friend staring off into space.

"Nothing" Kokoru answered as she turned to face Momoru "Let's go".

They began to walk towards the village they've been residing for past two hundred years. They were about to enter the Village gate when they saw a child with snow white hair, her eyes black and empty like a void. She was holding a mirror to which Momoru frowned.

"Kokoru!" She exclaimed. Kokoru gasped as she realised the danger.

"Momoru" She slowly whispered "escape". They were planning on turning the opposite direction and run when they heard a voice from behind them.

"Found you! Kokoru of heaven and Momoru of hell! Guardians of the Gate" The sinister voice spoke.

They turned around to meet the demon in a baboon costume "Half demon" Momoru whispered as a frown married her face.

"Who are you?" Kokoru asked

"I'm Naraku" He answered "And I'm in need of your assistance"

Both the guardians gave a threatening look. "In your dreams!" Momoru said as she unleashed a dark beam of light from her hand. Naraku made no attempt to dodge it. The beam hit him and was destroyed.

Kokoru looked at the ashes as she spotted a wooden figure buried in the middle. "A demon puppet"

"Thought so" They turned to see the baboon masked man standing beside the girl with the mirror "Kanna" He ordered.

"Kokoru, send the message" Momoru commanded as she felt herself being sucked into the mirror. Kokoru quickly chanted the incantation, a gust of wind emerged from her as she too was sucked into the mirror.

"Phew! The tests just killed me!" Yui complained as she walked down the street with Skylar.

"I'm just glad the test week is over" Skylar stretched her hands and sighed in relief.

"So what are you doing this Summer?" Yui asked.

"Um, I don't know" Skylar answered as she held on to the strap of her brown backpack.

"How about you join us on the beach trip?" Yui offered.

"Oh, thanks! I'll ask Takumi if he allows, I'll inform you" Sky suggested.

A gust of wind hit her as she crossed the shrine staircase. It carried a sweet fragrance that was calming but at the same time, it carried distress. Sky frowned at that. She felt warmth around her wrist.

"Wow!" Yui exclaimed, pulling Sky out of her trance.

"Wow, What?" Sky asked in confusion.

"I think your bracelet's glowing!" Yui said in awe.

"What?" Sky brought her attention to both her wrists to see the silver bands glowing. She quickly pulled her shirt's sleeve over it "Oh, no! It must be the light!" Sky forced a nervous smile. Her silver hair danced in the air as another gust of wind blew past them both.

"But.." Yui began.

"Oh look! We've reached your home!" Sky forced her cheery voice, pointing out animatedly. Yui's house was the third building to the Higurashi shrine. "Takumi called me early today! Don't wanna be late!" She excused herself, breaking into a run "Bye!" She waved as she turned around another corner to her home, that was just two blocks away.

She stopped running after the turn and began to walk in normal pace as she pulled her sleeves to look at the silver band which was indeed glowing blue. "Something's wrong!" She concluded. She was about to run again when she ran into something or rather someone.

"Oof!" Sky exclaimed.

"Watch where you're going" He spoke rudely "And Kagome! Would you hurry up!"

"I'm coming! I'm coming!" Kagome answered from a distance. "Sheesh, Inuyasha!"

Sky lifted her gaze up to see the oh-so-ill-mannered person. She frown as she tried to figure out who the familiar looking guy was.

"You!" Inuyasha frowned. Kagome stepped beside him to see Skylar getting up.

"Um, am I suppose to know you?" She asked slowly.

"No!" He rudely and loudly answered. His aura seemed to be overpowering hers. It didn't take her long to realise that he was no human. Her frown identical to his.

"Oh, I remember!" Kagome interjected "You are the girl from the Mall"

Sky's frown disappeared as she turned to look at Kagome, she took her memory to a week ago "Oh" She exclaimed at her achievement. She looked back at Inuyasha "What's with you and staring?" She lightly asked.

Inuyasha's gaze intensified as he looked at her as if trying point out something. Another gust of wind blew, taking Inuyasha's baseball cap with it, Sky skillfully got hold of it in mid-air. Her gaze fixed on his head.

Two white ears stood out on top. "Aha!" She exclaimed in triumph "Not Human" She pointed at him taking a power stance. With her right hand, that held the baseball cap, on her hip and her left arm stretched out pointing at him.

"No, no no!" Kagome stepped in between waving her hands animatedly "It's fake, he's in Drama" She formulated.

"Feh!" Inuyasha said looking away. His arms crossed under in red kimono sleeves. Suddenly her body pulsed. She dropped her power stance. She felt a pulse again. Inuyasha glared at her. It's weird, her abilities are resurfacing for some reason. 'This can't be good' She thought.

"You're one annoying human!" Inuyasha stated, snatching the blue cap from her hand rudely and putting it in its rightful place, his head.

"And you are one really very rude Halfbreed!" She childishly countered. Slamming her left foot on the ground. Inuyasha froze with his back on her. Kagome too went all silent. Inuyasha turned to face her, his hand on the hilt of his sword.

Sky noticed his move but didn't back off. He pulled out his sword but his eyes widened as the sword refused to transform. The sword pulsed as did Sky.

Sky shook her head. It was for the third time and she was already fed up, the bands on her wrists were heating up by the second and its glow was becoming more evident. She stuck her tongue out as she turned to run to home.

"I'll take my leave." She stated before she began to run "I've a home to reach". She raced out of the place and didn't stop until she reached home.

"How she figured that out?" Kagome said in deep thought. She looked to her left where Inuyasha had been standing but didn't find him there.

She turned around to see him already walking. "Feh! Who care!" He said "I just hope I never have to meet her again" he humphed.

Kagome jogged to fall into step with Inuyasha. "Why?" She questioned only to get no answer.
