"So, Sky is adopted?" Yui's voice echoed in the background as Sky made her way to the bottom of the stairs.

"Yes" Mrs Higurashi answered as Sky got close to the well "She was found inside the well about fourteen Years ago. We kept her before a man came forward and adopted her" She explained.

She too came down the stairs beside Sky as she stretched her hands to touch the rim of the well. Yui came beside her other side to peek down

As soon as Sky's hands came in contact with the surface of the Well she felt her body pulse. Sky could hear the humming coming from her bracelets. She was getting more curious as to what it could be. A shot of pain invaded her head and she gasped and jerked back. She was hyperventilating. Noticing it all Mrs Higurashi kept a hand on her shoulder. Yui strangely looked at her, confused as to what was happening.

"I think, we should head back" Mrs Higurashi suggested. Yui agreed and
Sky gave a nod. As she got close to the well for one last time to look down it. She felt a breeze.

Sky audibly gasped "Did you feel that?" She asked the two as she looked at them.

"Feel what?" Yui asked.

"Dear, we must head back" Mrs Higurashi insisted "We don't want any accidents here!" She held on Sky's wrist and tugged it.

As they turned, Bouyo, Mrs Higurashi's house cat, took the owner by surprise as he came on the way. She freaked out a bit and jerked back pushing Sky off balance in the process, resulting in a Fall into the well.

"Skylar!" Mrs Higurashi gasped as she tried to grab her hand but failed. Yui rushed beside Mrs Higurashi to see her friend fall.
They saw her disappear into the depths of the well.

Skylar opened her eyes as she felt her head throb. She looked straight up as she laid on her back. She could make out blue sky, may be she's still dreaming. A butterfly came down to sit on her nose, causing her to sneeze.

She soon jerked up and stood on her feet as reality dawned to her. She gasped and hurried out if the well.

She was greeted by green flushed ground and deep forest. She sat on the lip of the Well studying her surrounding. She could make out the big tree among the many others in the forest which she recognized to be the Goushinboku tree. She smiled to herself.

She felt a sense of belonging there. She felt a sense of purpose there. She knew the place must be filled with lots of danger and threat but she couldn't help the words that came out of her mouth.

"Home" She whispered as she felt overwhelmed by the surrounding around her.

She soon began to explore the place. She walked through the thick and dense forest admiring the beauty of nature. She felt powerful here. She could clearly sense the demonic and spiritual aura around her. She could feel the flow of energy coursing through her veins. The blood she had in her body accepted the place as her own.

She soon got to what seemed like a village. She looked around in awe. Everything felt so old fashioned. The settlement looked like they were largely based on agriculture. She was getting weird look from people as she moved forward. She heard someone comment on her "strange clothing".
She became self-conscious looking down at herself. She was wearing a light grey cardigan over a black tank top with black shorts, paired with black stockings with white horizontal stripes. She wore her favourite trekking boots that were blue in colour with silhouette of pixies printed on it with white and black. Compared to their kimonos sure the modern day attire stood out.

She tried to ask people passing by as to where she was but they only quickened their pace without an answer. She soon was fed up of it all and left the village, as soon as she could, and made her way towards the deep forest.

They were scared of her as if she was a witch or a demon in disguise.
She slowed down a bit when the thought of being seen as a demon crossed her mind "only if..." She trailed off. She looked up the colourful evening sky. It was almost dusk and she was tired of all the walking. Sure she was feeling all powerful with her abilities here but still she had a limit beyond which she couldn't push any further. Her stomach rumbled. She was worn out. She searched for a safe place to camp.

Gladly she had some cookies in her cardigan pocket to eat and satisfy her hunger.

She looked up at the cleat night sky as she drifted off to sleep. Keeping her mind off of the controversial and argumentive topics for the night. She was too tired to deal with an argument with her conscience.
