My Feudal Era Fairytale

Inuyasha followed the familiar scent into the heart of the forest. He became more restless when his sensitive ears caught a faint but audible sound of a fight.
Kagome was riding on his back now and he ran as fast as he could.

Soon the fighting scene unfolded itself  to him. The silver haired girl was in a fighting stance ready to defend and deflect any attack from the mad looking demoness. The girl was gasping and sweat traced her temple.

Kirara landed beside him and Kagome.

The woman lashed out at Sky. Sky was finding it really hard to contain her powers that wanted to protect her from the present danger.
Sky dodged her dark claws as she attempted to pierce them through her heart. Sky successfully threw her some feet away from herself.

Soon enough a dark aura began to surround Itami as she summoned her dark energy.
Kagome felt a sharp sting as the demoness did that.

'The aura is so defiled!' Kagome thought as she hurried one of her sacred arrow on her bow. She had to help the girl.

Itami ran towards Sky one more time, to end her story. Sky saw the dark sphere come towards her. But gladly a line of pink something whizzed past her.
The arrow managed to pierce through the dark aura that sent Itami blast several feet away.

"Are you okay?" Kagome asked loudly from her spot.

Sky looked back to see the same couple she ran into some days ago. She was indeed taken by surprise.
She hesitantly nodded.

"Hey, watch out" Inuyasha approached her at a lightning speed.

Itami took the advantage to recover and attack while Sky was distracted by the priestess.
Inuyasha intervened in the middle with his tessaiga, out ready for the windscar attack. But something was wrong he couldn't move.

Sky sensed the charm on him. She had to help him. She saw the demoness madly approaching her saviour with her claws out, drenched with dark energy.
She couldn't hold back any more. Sky pushed Inuyasha while Itami was just a feet away and their fist collided. Darkness met the light. Pure met the defiled. Kagome was taken aback and so were Miroku and Sango. Sky's hand was covers in a layer of energy which to some extent was purifying but there was a tinge of something unusual in the energy she possesed, which Kagome sensed.

The collision produced a wave of energy waves that race out in all direction. Frightening the weaker demons and beings and challenging the stronger ones.

Shippo fell unconscious from Sango's shoulder.

"Shippo!" Kagome screamed and she caught him in his mid fall.

The collision ended with a big explosion that sent both, Itami and Sky, in opposite direction. Inuyasha ran to break Sky's fall. The human may die out of the impact of the fall but he failed to reach her. Though her fall was broken, by Miroku.

Inuyasha came to them soon and crouched down to check on the unconscious stranger. He sighed in relief as he felt her pulse alright.

"Inuyasha" he heard the distress call from Kagome.

"What?" His voice came out rather depressed.

"Shippo" she came running to him with Sango and Kirara tailing behind "He... He won't wake up" she finished as she reached the two boys.

"What happened to him?" He asked now his full attention on Shippo.

"No idea" Kagome replied that caused an unsettling feeling in the pit of his stomach.

Inuyasha stood up hurriedly. "Let's take him to the old hag" he picked up Sky not trusting Miroku with her "and this brat"

Kagome gave a nod of agreement and mounted on Kirara behind Sango holding Shippo close to her.
