My Feudal Era Fairytale

"INUYASHA!" Kagomi screamed and shot a sacred arrow. But the snare was too thick around Inuyasha's now capsuled body. Kagomi looked towards Sky, who was bleeding heavily.

Sky couldn't help but shiver. This power supressing business was doing her no good. But she had no choice. In this world full of demons, she couldn't let herself get exposed. Not until her deal with that Naraku guy.
Her frantic shiver prompted the snare to grip her more. This caused her to scream. She shut her eyes close and mentally cried for help.
It has all happened before. That time she was lucky. But now she has dragged many more to this fate.

Miroku tried his sutras but it was all in vain. They all were losing.

Sky let out a scream in pain and that's when Inuyasha tore out of the depths of the snare's cocoon.

"WIND SCAR" He screamed as his father's fang did the job. The roof of the place shattered like mere glass and the light filled the area. The snare went still.

Kagome quickly got beside Sky and freed her from the roots.
Inuyasha and the others too joined. Sango had Shippo in her arms.

"Man, what is it with you and getting hurt?" Inuyasha complained as he helped her stand "Eversince we found you, you've been injuring yourself! You are worse than, Kagome!" He bluntly stated.

"Hey!" Kagomi protested. This made Sky chuckle a bit but then pain took over her.

"Let's take the medicine and leave," Miroku took charge and carefully pulled out a hand full of them. Sango took out a cloth and tied it around Sky's shoulder for the time being.

Night came soon as they got out of the dark forest. Inuyasha had Sky on his back. He could feel her heart-rate slower than usual and could smell poison in her blood stream.

They finally decided to camp. Kagome made the herb for shippo and bandaged Sky's wound with the help of Sango.

"She has a temperature" Sango informed.

"We must be glad she's fine" Miroku said.

All were silent after then and hoped that next day would turn out better with everyone healthy.

Sesshomaru entered the grove of the dark forest as the dusk coloured the sky in the hue of orange and pink. He reached the grove of devil snare only to be welcomed by the stench of blood. The area around that place was somewhat demolished. He knew his halfbreed of a brother and his little gang was here, but there was this prominent smell of somebody new yet familiar. And for the first time after a long time something, beside Inuyasha, took him by surprise. He had to make sure of the person carrying that smell. But before that he needed to get what he came for and help his human companion, Rin, heal.
Nobody could ever understand why he, someone who detests human, let that child follow him around. (And frankly we won't know that anytime soon.)
