Sky huffed and puffed as she ran inside the shaky cave. Currently she was inside Mount Hakure searching for the gem that would let her open the gates to Kokoru and Momoro's home.

She could sense the defiled aura in here. The purifying shield around the mountain disappeared a day ago. And knowing that Kagome and Inuyasha are on this Mountain she figured it was their doing. She was careful not to run into any of those band-of-seven guys. It was not her place. She had other things to take care of.

So now she was headed to the center of the cave where her enchanted bracelets led her to. Suddenly she heard an evil laughter which she knew belonged to Naraku.

"Congrats on making it here.I had plans to welcome you. But seems like you're a little late, you're already trapped between the walls of my intestines. It's over for you guys." Sky heard Naraku announce as she came to an opening. There was Naraku surrounded by several demons bodies and tentacles. Further she could make out Kagomi and her group, Inuyasha was struggling with the tentacles that had the hanyou in its grasp. Naraku's presence was incredibly evil.

To her luck Naraku haven't sensed her in here yet, now that the mountain is acting as his body, which she assumed.

Suddenly at the very bottom of the cave, where several discarded demon bodies were piled she noticed a hint of blue amidst all of it. If she doesn't hurry up she will never be able to retrieve it ever again, just like Rem said.

'May be he knew this was going to happen.' She thought while conjuring a rope-line and strategically rappelled down to the pit.

Up above the team were held down by the tentacles. She wanted to help but restrained. She believed in Inuyasha and Kagomi, meanwhile she must get what she came here for. She moved a lot of bodies and made her way down to at last reach the palace where a blue orb sat. To a normal being it was just a stone, but she wasn't normal, she picked it up and kept it safely in her pocket.

Naraku was busy fighting with Inuyasha and his gang. He whipped Kirara with one of his tentacles. Amidst all that he sensed someone crawl beneath the mountain floor. He was unable to predict who, but he let one of his tentacle go down and grab whoever it is.

Kagomi very closely observed this act of his and as he pulled his tentacle up she recognise the figure.

"Sky" Kagomi gasped and now everyone's attention was on her.

She struggled against his tentacles, which amused Naraku.
"Look what we've got here! You tricked me well last time we met. " He Snickered "The whole of Mount Hakurei is now part of my body. In other words, all of you are inside my body. Did you really think that you could sneak out?"

Naraku's crazy laughter filled the place and soon the fragments of the shikon jewel began to merge slowly together and the cave was filled with a bright light. Everyone gasped. Slowly, the rest of Naraku's body formed. A pair of wings appeared behind him and he wore an armor-like suit with bony spikes. A red eye appeared across his chest.

"Naraku's new body!" Miroku gasped.

Everyone present there were shocked and Naraku was surrounded by a pink barrier.

"How pitiful. All my sworn enemies, went through so much to get here, and yet they can't do anything to me." He mocked.

This ticked Inuyasha off and thus he tried to break free using his claws but miserably failed.
Sky to tried to wiggle her way out and conjured a sword to break free. She tried to cut her way out but another tentacle came and grabbed her hand.

Inuyasha somehow broke free and used his windscar. But Naraku had a new trick up his sleeve, he took control of the unleashed windscar and began to use it against him.
All of a sudden his interest seemed to have lost in them, he began to float up and leave. He let go of Sky to a free fall but Kirara got to her in the nick of time.

"Where are you going?" Inuyasha screamed but Naraku paid no mind to it.

Inuyasha and Kagomi tried to follow him while the windscar was still acting up. Kagomi shot an arrow towards Naraku and managed to make a hole in his barrier out of which Koga fell.
Naraku laughed at their act and labelled it as foolish. Everyone gathered around and Naraku released his miasma from various pores of the cave.

Everyone covered their noses while Naraku enjoyed.
"It's the least I could do for you. Together, you can die with your friends" he mocked and left, while Koga still fell into the pits of death.

A/N:
I know I am a horrible person for taking such a long time to finish the story. The part might be shitty and may seem like a filler chapter. But here's my attempt at getting back to it anyway.
No more excuses now.
You guys probably hate me for this but I'll earn that love of yours.
