Her conscience battled within her as she intently stared at Koga's feet.

Koga looked at her for a while. He was amazed at how powerful her seemingly fragile body is.
He puts his hands on her shoulder. "You are okay?"

Sky was pulled out of her trance. She looked up at the wolf demon and gave a small smile. Koga nodded and turned to Ayami as she thanked him for avenging the death of her friends.

Sky shook her head and felt somewhat guilty. She can't just steal it from him! He has his own purpose to achieve and it would be unfair if she takes them away for her selfish needs.
Guess, she'll have to find one on her own. But how?

She turned towards the forest to catch a glimpse of a familiar blue. Without any care, she left Koga and his pack to follow the person she needed.

Damn. She thought, how easy it was to get distracted from her initial aim. How can she just forget about her friends, Kokoru and Momoru. She cursed herself.

She soon came to a halt as she spotted Rem standing.

"Now who's stalking?" Rem joked

Sky blinked blankly for a while then scratched her head in goofiness.
"It turns out you were the one I was searching for"

Rem was amused "And may I ask why?"

Sky then took a very business like tone and said "I wanted to know about Kokoru and Momoru"

"I see" He moved towards a big rock and sat on it.

"It's just that" Sky began "I have no idea how to send them back to their home" She blushed with embarrassment.

Rem simply smiled. "Well you were too young to learn that so it's nothing to be embarrassed about. Your disappearance in itself came as a shock to us all. I was so sure at that I had a close eye on you!" He pensively  said. "Anyway, you need to gather the three stones of earth, heaven and hell. When it is joined together with a drop of the protector's blood then only the gates to their home shall appear."

"The three stones?" Sky pressured her brain "the ones that sensei always kept with him?"

"Yes" Rem answered.

"But he's dead! And I have no idea where he hid it!"

"It's okay. He gave it to me when he was on his death bed"

"Really? So you have it?" She hopefully asked.

"About that" Rem stood up "I hid it in three different places to keep it away"

Sky sweat dropped "Oh how very thoughtful of you!" She mocked.

"Not my fault" Rem raised both his hands. "You disappeared without a trace. The knowledge of how to bind the two to a protector was known by some. So it was necessary to keep the knowledge of opening a way to the gate a secret." He explained.

Sky just sighed. Guess nothing will come easily to her in this place.
"Then please be kind enough to tell me the location of the rocks"

Rem walked up close to her. "One is in Mount Hakure"

Sky looked up curiously "mount Hakure?"

"Yes, just walk up further towards northeast and you will find it."

"Can you help me get there?" Sky asks

Rem gives her an apologetic look "That place is said to purify demons. I really want to but I'll be of no help."

Sky huffs and stamps his foot "Absolutely right. You are no help"

Rem steps back due to her sudden tantrum "I like to keep my distance from fights. In fact everyone you know is heading that way. I'm sure that will help"

Sky froze "ev-evryone?" She looks at Rem with puffed cheeks "Why don't you tell me the address to the other stones" she demanded.

"No can do" Rem denies "You have to get that first, I've a feeling you might not be able to get that one later"

"Whatever" Sky turns to leave

"You know you won't gain anything by avoiding people, or demons in your case"

"None of your business" Sky burst and almost broke into a run but something struck. "Just tell me this, how am I supposed to know where the stone is?"

Rem sighs in disappointment and he walks close to her again. He held up her wrist close to her face.

Sky sweat dropped "How silly of me! Of course the bracelets" She registered.

The demon then walked past her with a grim face, somewhat annoyed by her statement "By the way" he said before disappearing into the forest "You almost got killed there. Again. If that's the level of your strength then I doubt you'll be able to help anybody, or prove" He finished

Sky quickly turned around to counter Rem by telling him that it's none of his business but he was already gone.

She looked at nothing but in particular for a whil,e then a look of determination took over "Mount Hakure it is then!"
