Skylar followed the trial of the whirlwind. It wasn't hard to find it after some random group of traveller's heading from the north-east spoke of a demon moving so fast that a tornado formed as he ran.
This cheered her up and made her follow the trial of the very wolf demon she was rude to.

Well it seems like she just can't stop running into people she has a bad relation with. But then again anything is a thousand times better than the alternate option Priestess Maka gave. Her luck just seems to be bailing out on her.

After about walking for a couple of hours she realised something, the group of men said he was running. Now then that's that, it would take more than a walk to catch up to him! Though he's fast, boosted by the two jewel shards, there's only so far he can travel with Ginta and Hakkaku. Also, it's not like he knows where he's exactly going.

So, Sky ran. She possessed a superhuman speed and could easily, almost, catch up to Inuyasha's speed.
After running for about the entire day, with a short stoppage in between, she made it by dusk to the trail that seemed only a day's old.
She cheered on her success and camped in a cave for the night.

That night she dreamt that she had to face Inuyasha again at some strange mountain covered in mist. Also, he was looking more like a human than a demon. It surprised her. How can this be? She also met the dreaded Lord Sesshomaru. He was fighting a man  with claws and there was a girl, who looked pretty much human, whom the Lord was protecting.
All this surprised her beyond anything. She was seeing the impossible! She woke up with a jerk as she felt a surge of wave run through her body.

It was almost sunrise. So, she got fresh and set out to track down the wolf demon, failing to notice the shadow in the deep forest following her.

It was noon and she had stopped from her run to eat and drink when she heard a shuffle and realised that the presence has been around ever since she began her journey this morning.

"Who's there?" She sternly asked.

The person hiding behind a tree came out.

"You!" She exclaimed when she saw the familiar looking blue haired demon, Rem. "Why are you following me?"

"Me?" He feigned innocence gesturing as if talking to a kid.

"Yes you!" Sky pointed at him.

"I'm not" He playfully protested.

"Oh really?" Sky refused to believe, crossing her arms across her chest.

"Yes." Rem gave a charming smirk "well let's settle it!" He challenged "Where are you heading?" He asked.

Sky huffed "You first" She challenged.

"Well I'm heading north-east" He simply stated.

Sky looked surprised and felt guilty of accusing him. "Oh" she said and picked up her things to move out of that place of embarrassment. "Sorry" she apologized.

Rem shook his head, silently laughing, thinking how gullible this girl can be. Anyone who tracked her can figure out where she's heading. "You didn't answer" He stated as Sky tried to sneak out.

"Uh," She scratched her head, deciding wether she should tell "well I'm searching for someone" she finally answered.

"Who?" He asked as he began to walk with the silver haired gullible human.

"Koga" She shortly answered hoping that he'd leave. After all what are the chances of this demon knowing of Koga? She thought

"Koga? The leader of the eastern yokai-wolf tribe?" Rem lightly question as he sensed her doubt.

Sky faltered in her step and gasped. She didn't know that part. "Uhh..."she animatedly sweat-dropped "I guess"

Rem smirked at her antics. "Well I'm sure I saw him by the river just a miles further"

"Really?" She hopefully asked.

"Yes. In fact I can still smell him" he said.

Sky hopped with glee and hugged him quickly before making a run for it, before Koga moved away further. "Thank you so much" She waved to him.

Rem smiled as he saw her rush to the lake. Shaking his head in humour.

"Ginta, Hakkaku!" Koga called in authoritative tone "we move now"

"What?" His companions protested "But we just stopped!" Ginta whined.

"Then I hope you guys catch up" koga readied himself to run again. "Boss!"

Before Koga could leave with his lightning speed, he heard someone call out his name.

Sky was about to reach the river. She had already spotted the group of three. But soon Koga got ready to leave, making her restless. "Hey, Koga!" She screamed, prompting the yokai wolf leader turn to her.

She gasped for air as she stopped few feet away from him.

"Running away again?" Koga grin.

Sky glared at him and puffed her cheeks "No, I'm on a mission of my own this time. "

"So?" Koga raised an eyebrow.

"I need your hel... assistance" Sky uncomfortably expressed.

"Oh, I'm sure someone said she doesn't need any help from me some time ago" Koga mocked her.

Sky balled a fist at his cocky behaviour "Don't get ahead of yourself! It's just that I have no choice"  She protested.

"So how may I help you?" He asked jokingly. After all she's Kagome's friend. No matter how insolent and proud she is.

"I wanted to ask you..."

"Better make it quick!" Koga cut her off "I don't have all day!"

Sky huffed in irritation but forced a smile, afraid that he might refuse to help if she gets too arrogant.

"I wanted to know if you know anything about the celestial wolf?"

Koga raised an eyebrow again "why?"

"None of your business!" Sky stomped her foot.

Koga held her gaze for a while before dismissing her impatient behavior.

"Well, he's been spotted roaming near by just recently." Koga stated.

"Really? Where?" Sky asked. She's been doing that a lot quite lately "you know his name?"

"Rem" Koga shortly answered.
