Naraku's smug look faded when he saw them smirk.
Skylar looked towards him with a wide smile and then 'POOF', no Skylar and no keepers. The centre of the lake was empty.

Naraku gave a loud frustrated scream.

"What?" Inuyasha and his gang were taken aback as well.

"What happened?" Kagome asked.

Sesshomaru stood still, trying to comprehend the event. This wasn't supposed to happen. Something wasn't right, as far as he remembers the ritual wasn't this short, the blue moon's dark tinge hasn't even faded yet. If that's the case, then it means only one thing. Their protector never died.

He turned to look behind him as he felt a presence. Skylar stood there with the Keepers safely behind her, their blindfolds now removed.

"How?" Naraku barked when he sighted the human girl come out from behind the white clad demon.

Naraku deployed his tentacles at her but they all shattered like glass before touching her.

The dog demon observed the human girl. He could sense her still pulse. It seems that her super abilities were still waking up.

Inuyasha too stared at her with confusion. He failed to understand the girl. Is she bad? Is she good? He couldn't understand her.

Kagome looked into her aura. This was it. This is the energy she sensed inside of her all those many days ago. Miroku gave her a look to which she nodded.

"You know," Sky finally spoke "You should be careful whom you are playing with" She looked straight at Naraku giving a toothy grin.

"You were supposed to be dead, 200 years ago!" Naraku recalled.

"Really?" Sky sassed "It's been just 14 years for me. Guess I got lucky with time, huh!"

Naraku attacked her with his tentacles again which she dodged with a backflip and in the mid flip she conjured a bow which glowed silver-ish. Once her feet landed the ground, she pulled it's string to which a notched arrow appeared. She aimed it straight at Naraku's heart.

Kagome perked up when she observed the energy around the arrow.
"So pure! Yet it has a hint of something demonic in it!" Her mind spoke. Naraku made a slim escape, the arrow missing him just by a hair's breath but still, harming him enough to make him go into hiding for a month.

Inuyasha launched at Sky once Naraku retreated. A punch collided with the girl's cheek. She was pushed  by it's force skidding her backwards resulting in a collision with an armour.

"You idiot!" Inuyasha exclaimed "What are you?"

Sky turned her back at him which resulted her facing Lord Sesshomaru. Her expression hardened as she saw him with an expression as if he realised something.

"I can't make it out. Just tell me! Are good or are you bad?" Inuyasha asked in frustration.

Sky looked ahead of her making an eye contact with the dog demon in front of  her.

"I'm..." She began as she broke the eye contact with Lord Sesshomaru and started waking past him to the two ladies "I'm only human".
