Riley POV

"Okay, so what are we going to do about these two?" I jumped onto the couch at my moms cafe and took a big bite of the chocolate biscotti in my right hand.

"I don't know but Lucas is all 'broody' and it's weird. I can't have a normal conversation with him about the game last night without him bringing up some philosophical stuff.." Zay threw his arms up in defeat.

"According to Lucas, they seemed to have forgiven each other and declared their love for each other." Farkle butted in.

"Love them both, but even after I ask Maya SEVERAL times why she and Lucas aren't together.. I still don't understand why they are together is they love each other." I sat up in the chair.

"But after everything Luke put her through, I don't blame her for not trusting him anymore.." Zay replied.

"Well unless we want two broody, awkward, yet weirdly in love teenagers dropping around everywhere.. We have to fix this." Farkle said as he concocted a plan in his head.

"What's the plan Zay?"

"I'm not sure, I have never seen Lucas like this. It's like he's so patient, yet sad. And hopeful, but unexcited."

"Well if they love each other as much as they say they do, we need to intervene before they never get back. If Maya waits too long, her wall will just go right back up." I sigh.

"The Art Showcase!" Farkle nearly screamed.

"What about it?" Zay asked.

"Lucas and Maya are two both weirdly passionate people, it's sweet but.. not the point. Maya is most passionate about Riley, her family, Lucas, and.."

"Her art." I finished.

"Exactly.. and Lucas is just happy to see everyone else happy. But if we get Lucas to do something bold, but not too crazy... romantic, but not too Riley.. it might be enough to start up the 'Maya forgiveness' train."

"It's crazy enough to work..." Zay looked at me.

"You wonderful genius you." I walked over to Farkle and plopped right next to him, put my arm around his shoulder and kissed his rosy little cheek.

"But what is Lucas gonna do?"

We all paused in silence.

We hadn't thought to go that far.

"Okay how about.. oh.. nevermind. Maya's allergic." I changed my mind.

"He could.. eh, nah.. no cowboy hats.." Zay spoke up.

Cowboy hats.

Right then, I looked at Farkle and we both thought the same thing.

"I know what we can do!" We said at the same time.
