"Swimming," Paninimula ni Sir Silver, our new Physical Education teacher as he explained the whole history and nature of swimming. "Is not only a hobby but it is also an individual or a team sport which is one the most popular Olympic sports."
"It is also an activity which includes movements such as breaststroke, scissor kick and others." Aniya't itinuro ang Pool na nasa harapan namin. "Prehistoric man learnt to swim in order to cross river and lakes."
Tumango kami sa kaniyang sinabi as we examined the pool and saw that it was 7 ft. deep.
"So," Sir Silver said as he eyed everyone. "Who wants to go first?"
Excited na pumila ang lahat para makapag-swimming sa pool, laughing and shouting as they made a straight line.
I silently smiled as I see them having fun and playing in the pool while I'm here, sitting and was just watching over them.
Well, I smiled as I looked at my feet, the reason why I can't be part of any physical activities. At least, I can still walk.
"Hey," A sweet voice said, sitting beside me as I saw Selene's beautiful purple eyes. "Do you mind if I join you?"
My brows furrowed after hearing what she said, confusion registered in my face as I stared at her with questioning eyes, "Why? Don't you want to have fun with them?"
"Honestly?" She said, smiling as her lovely purple eyes brightened with delight. "I think I would only kill their happiness so, it is much better for me to stay here than to ruin their moment."
A smile appeared on my face as she took the seat beside, thought that it was slightly true that she might only ruin their moment but I know, she just wanted to stay with me so that I won't be left here, alone and lonely.
Selene, I said as I stared at her beautiful purple eyes. What are you doing to me?
"Hey!" A high-pitched voice shouted, pushing Selene to the other side of the seat as Caleb placed his crazy self on the space between us and clung to my arm like a tarsier. "He's mine!"
Napabuntong-hininga na lang ako sa kalokohan niya, tried so hard to remove my arm from his hold as he said, "Akin lang ang asawa ko!" Aniya't ginaya pa si Angel Locsin. God, this guy is so gay!
"I knew it," A cold voice said, making us looked at Amara's direction who was sitting beside Selene with expressionless blue eyes which are directed at Caleb. "You're gay."
"Hey!" Gulat na sabi ni Caleb, agad na inalis ang kabit sa braso ko't tinuro pa si Amara. "I'm not gay! Lalaki ako!" Aniya't pinakita pa ang imaginary muscles niya. "See?"
"Yep," Amara said coldly while looking at the pool as she put her hands inside her pocket. "I saw a stick planted inside a man's arm. Not a very good sight to see."
"Hey!" Nakasimangot na sabi ni Caleb sabay tinignan ng masama si Amara.
Napangiti na lamang ako sa kakulitan nila't mahinang bumulong, it looks like Caleb already found his 'katapat'.
"Tulong!" Bigla kaming napalingon sa direksyon ng pool nang marinig ang sigaw na iyon and saw Nicole having a hard time breathing as she tried so hard to wave her hands and to reach for air. "Di ako makahinga!"
Agad kaming napatayo, alarmed at what's happening as everyone panicked on what to do.
"I'll go," I said the moment I saw Nicole already breathing heavily in the water. "I need to save her."
