Weakling
Caleb"Kage bunshin technique!" "Times 2, times 2!"
I heard my guardian's loud growl, his green eyes glowing with the moon's light as he looked at me with disappointment.
I was left all alone in the training ground, practicing for a new attack which is much stronger than my past attacks.
I closed my fist with much greater force and closed my eyes to feel the energy around me, the strong wind hugging my body.
I slowly opened my palms and felt my hand controlling the ground as I tried to release my new technique, Earthquake with strong shockwaves.
The ground was greatly affected by my attack as I felt it shaking and the moment I opened my eyes, I saw the ground slowly opening as electricity covered the whole area, making the ground sparkle with a beautiful golden light.
I took out my spear, my chosen weapon and threw it with strong force on the ground, making the ground tremble as electricity automatically invaded the place, covering the training ground with it's beautiful golden light.
Success, I smiled upon looking at the result of my attack as a small leaf slowly fall in the ground which immediately turned into ash because of the strong shockwaves and electricity I released on the ground, making everything turn into ash the moment it stepped on the ground. You're such a genius, Caleb Wolfram.
"Not bad," A cold voice said. Amara, who was in her training suit with her long braided hair stepped on the battle ground with an expressionless face, her air shield stopping my attack from turning her into ash as she said my name. "Wolfram."
I frowned upon looking at her cold face, her blue eyes shining with the golden light I released on the battle ground as I said, "What are you doing here?"
"Training," She answered as if it's the most obvious thing in the world and took out her weapon, arrows and bow. "Obviously."
"Are you trying to kill me?" I said as I felt the arrow landed at the top of my head, almost killing me and making me one of her favorite target apples as I removed it from the tree I was leaning. "What the hell are you doing here?"
"I told you, I'm here to train, Wolfram." Aniya't inirapan ako. "Stop acting like a baby."
"Baby?" I raised the arrow she used to almost kill me. "You almost made me one of your target apples and instead of saying sorry to me, you called me a baby?"
"Why?" "Babies are cute well, I'm not saying that you're cute--"
"I knew it," I said, a naughty smile forming on my lips as I raised my brows up and down at her direction. "You like me don't you? Aww!"
"In your dreams, weakling." "Step out of the battle ground, it's my time to train."
"What?" I said, disbelief written on my face as I looked at her with amusement. "Ako ang nauna dito tapos, papaalisin mo lang ako?"
"Bakit?" Sabi niya't pinagtaasan ako ng kilay. "You're already done with your training, right? This place is not only for you, Wolfram. This place is also for other Protectors."
"B-but, that's not fair!" Sabi ko't sinimangutan siya. "You saw me performing my attack and you wanted me to leave now that you're doing yours? That's not fair, Amara."
Her blue eyes sparkled upon hearing her name on my lips as if the simple mention of her name brought many different emotions to her system as I saw her biting her lip and avoiding my gaze.
"S-shut up, Wolfram." Aniya't tinalikuran ako. "Go home."
"No, I'm not going home." "I'm staying here with you."
I saw how her body tensed upon hearing what I said, her shoulder shaking as if what I said brought electricity to her body.
"Fine," She said, still avoiding my gaze and covered herself with strong winds as she released her beautiful white wings. "Do anything you want to do, Wolfram." Aniya't nagsimula nang gumawa ng hurricane with sharp blades.
I smiled upon hearing the coldness in her voice, thought she was adorable as I saw her flying so high and releasing arrows towards the huge hurricane she created, making it's attack more powerful as sharp blades and dangerous arrows moved around it.
She spread out her wings the same way how a beautiful bird would do and released her hurricane's sharp blades and arrows, attacking the trees with her powerful technique.
She was indeed a Protector, I mumbled to myself as I watched her slowly destroying the Protector's Camp with her attack. A strong one.
Nagulat na lamang ako't agad napatakbo patungo sa direksyon ni Amara nang marinig itong malakas na sumigaw, her loud cries sending fear in my system as I saw her slowly falling down to the ground.
"Amara!" I called her name as I saw her screaming with pain with blood flowing down her body. "Amara!"
"No," She weakly said, stopping me from walking any closer to her as blood continued to fall down from her body. "I told you to step out of the battle ground, Caleb. Stay there."
"But you're bleeding!" I shouted, anger visible in my voice as I saw her slowly breaking down. "I can't just stand here, Amara!"
"No!" She shouted back, fear evident in her eyes as she said, "Stay there, Caleb. Please, it's dangerous."
Why? I said as I looked at her who was slowly falling down on the ground. Why won't she let me help her?
Nagulat na lamang ako nang makita ang likod niyang dumudugo dahil sa arrow na nakatusok rito, must be because of the unstoppable attack of her hurricane which was still attacking the whole place with it's arrows and bloody blades.
I must do something, I said as I looked at Amara's pained expression. I must save Amara.
I shielded myself with my earth shield as I flew towards Amara's direction with my Earth Dragon, releasing different attacks to the hurricane but the more I attack it, the more it becomes stronger.
"No, stop attacking the Hurricane, Caleb." Amara said as she tried to stand up. "It will only add your attacks to it's power." "It absorbs your energy and attacks."
"Then, what should we do?" I asked the moment I finally held her in my arms, maingat ko siyang nilagay sa likod ng Guardian ko't sinabing, "How can we stop it?"
"I-i must stop it," Amara weakly said as she opened her palms and tried to stop the Hurricane from attacking. "B-but, I can't control it. It's too powerful."
"No, rest Amara." I said as I slowly rested her head on my chest and pulled my Guardian away from the battle ground before the Hurricane can eat us alive. "I'll call Selene and you must rest in your room, you're badly injured. Besides, Selene's a goddess, she might knew how to stop the hurricane--"
"Thank you, Caleb." Amara said, stopping me from finishing my sentence as she softly kissed my cheeks and smiled weakly.
"I owe you one, weakling." Aniya't tuluyan nang nawalan ng malay.
