We both stared at Selene's lonely purple eyes as she said, "O-ok lang ako. Uhm, why don't we rest for the night? There, we might rent a room in that place." Aniya't 'tila wala sa sariling umalis.
Selene, bulong ko't napabuntong-hininga. She might have been bothered with what the Mermaid said. She seems so confused.
"Uy," Tukso ni Caleb sabay inakbayan ako. "Concern siya kay Sel—Aww!"
"Shut up," Inis na sabi ko't muling nilingon ang nakatalikod ni Selene. If only I could do something.
"Lapitan mo na kasi," Caleb said while looking at Selene. "Walang mangyayari 'kung tatayo ka lang dito. Man up, bro!"
Napaisip ako, nilingon ang nakangiting si Caleb sabay kinurot ang tainga niya. "Alam mo minsan may utak ka din pala, bakit hindi mo yan gamitin madalas?" Sabi ko't umalis na kasabay ng pag-reklamo ni Caleb.
"BAKIT ANG SAMA NIYO SA AKIN?"
"Selene," Tawag ko nang maabutan siya.
"Oh, Zion. May problema ba?"
"Uhm, wala. May itatanong lang sana ako sayo."

Napatigil ako, doesn't seem to know how to start this conversation as I stared at her lovely purple eyes.
"Ano, kasi..."
"Hmm?"
"Excuse me," Natahimik na lamang kami nang dumaan si Belle sa pagitan namin ni Selene.
Selene looked at her with curious eyes as Belle walk away.
Great, I just lost my chance.
"May tao ba dito?" Takang tanong ni Caleb nang makapasok kami sa loob at makitang walang nakabantay sa front desk. "Hello? Is anybody home?"

"Are there any available rooms here?" Selene asked, her purple eyes directed at Melody. "We badly needed a place to stay for tonight."
"Oh, yes we have." Melody answered with sparkling eyes. "We currently have 2 vacant rooms."
"Great," Selene replied and took out a huge pile of gold coins. "We'll gladly take them."
"Gold?" Melody asked with wide eyes, she even took out her glasses to examine the coins. "These are real gold coins but how.."
