I felt sweat falling down on my face as I hid behind a tree, panting and is carefully searching for any signs of her.
Where are you? I mumbled as I roamed my eyes around this shady place, darkness surrounding every place and all I can hear is my heavy breaths, searching so hard for the girl with beautiful purple eyes, rosy lips and a long hair. My love please, tell me where are you?
"Pakawalan niyo ako!" I felt my heart jumped the moment I heard that sweet angel-like voice.
I opened my eyes and there I saw her, my love with fearful eyes who was trying so hard to release herself from the men with dark amor suits.
"Bitawan niyo ako!" She shouted, anger visible in her voice as she tried to escape from those men. "I order you to release me!"
My love, I said and felt a stinging pain in my heart as I watched her fighting so bad for her freedom, alone and so scared. W-what's happening?
"Well, well, hello there my beautiful visitor." A deep voice said as a man, wearing dark clothes with a creepy smile on the face approached my love and touched her face, almost making me lose my balance as I watched his every move. "Or should I say, future wife?"
His laughter filled the whole place, echoing in every area as he stared at my love's angry purple eyes.
"Why are you looking at me like that?" He said, raising her chin and smiling wickedly at her. "Won't you even greet your future husband--"
"You're not my husband, Hades." She coldly said, angrily gritting her teeth after spitting on the mad man's face. "And you will never be."
Hades, the man with dark clothes looked at her direction angrily, his eyes suddenly turning into a shade of red as he slapped her face so hard.
Fvck, I said, closing my fist as I took out my Father's sword which I stole from his room. Don't you hurt my love!
"Why?" Hades said, his burning eyes looking angrily at her as he raised her chin and made her looked at his ugly face. "Because of that boy? That weak human who you always follow around like a fool? Is that it?"
"He's not just any other human, Hades." She bravely answered, staring directly at Hades' angry eyes and said, "He's the one I love, the one I will marry--"
"Wake up!" He angrily shouted, his hand hanging in the air the moment he slapped her face again. "You're a Goddess, you can never marry a human!"
I froze upon hearing what he said, every word replaying like a broken disk in my head as I realized everything.
S-she's a goddess, I mumbled as I stared at her beautiful purple eyes. And that's why we can't be together.
It's illegal. A human and a goddess can't be together. It's wrong, so wrong!
"I don't care!" She shouted back, tears filling her eyes as she said every word. "I love him and that's what matters the most!"
"You're a fool," Hades said, gritting his teeth as he slapped her face once again. "You're a disgrace in Olympus!"
"Yes, I am," She answered, every word sounds like a sharp knife, stabbing Hades' chest so hard as she bravely said, "I am a fool, a disgrace in Olympus, a destroyer of the Pyramid of Life. Yes, call me anything you want but," Aniya't nilapit ang mukha kay Hades. "You won't ever have me, never."
