"Belle is an orphan," Amara said, her blue eyes are staring directly at Belle's sleeping face, so peaceful and beautiful but hidden deep inside her peaceful sleeping face is a painful memory. "Her parents died from a car accident and Belle was the only survivor."
"Belle was left with nothing but her bracelet, the only memory of her parents." Aniya't bumuntong-hininga. "Since then, she started working on different part-time jobs to survive. She even accepted a job at a Bar where she was singing after class. Belle was lonely, so lonely."
Everyone fell silent after what Amara said, all eyes are focused on Belle's sleeping face as her mermaid tail slowly faded away and became a human's leg again.
"How did you know her?" I asked, eyes still focused on Belle's peaceful sleeping face and asked Amara. "How did you know every single thing about her?"
"She was my best friend," Amara answered, making everyone looked at her direction, shocked and confusion painted on our faces as she stared at Belle's sleeping figure. "We we're best friends before everything turned into a huge mess. When Belle thought I was stealing her number one spot."
"What?" Caleb exclaimed, shocked registered in his face as his questioning hazel eyes stared at Amara. "Akalain mo 'yun, nagkaroon ka ng kaibigan? Our school's emotionless queen had a friend? Woah--Ouch!"
"I'm not that bad, Wolfram." Amara said after harshly hitting Caleb's arm and said with cold eyes, "I just really hate weakling guys with loud mouths."
"H-hey!" Caleb said, pouting his lips as he rubbed his poor arm. "I'm not a weakling!"
"Enough," Selene said, stopping Caleb and Amara from another war as she said, "This is not the time for your childish games, Protectors. We have a bigger problem here." Aniya't bumuntong-hininga.
"We only have a few weeks left before the night of the Crescent Moon," Sabi niya't seryoso kaming tinitigan sa mga mata. "And as Protectors, you must have a peaceful relationship with each other. Napaface-palm si Heather matapos marinig ang sinabi ko, her brown eyes brightened with disappointment as she said, "No, stupid. Don't you get it? Say sorry to each other!"
Everyone fell silent after hearing what Heather said, all are confused and everyone are hesitating to say something when we heard a voice said, "I'm sorry."
We stood there, froze and shocked as Belle slowly rose from her seat and once again said these words, "I'm sorry, for everything."
We all turned to looked at Amara's direction who was shocked to hear what Belle said, her blue eyes showing a puzzled expression as Belle looked straight into her eyes and said, "I'm sorry, Amara. I'm sorry, please forgive me."
We all stood there, silent and confused with everything that's happening as Amara held Belle's trembling hands and said, "I was never angry at you Belle, you don't need to be sorry for anything." Aniya't niyakap ito.

"Zion," Belle called my name, saving me from Caleb's dark intentions as she said, "I know, what I said completely shocked you but I'm sorry," Aniya't diretso akong tinitigan sa mga mata. "I-i won't take it back."
Napatulala ako, 'tila hindi alam ang dapat sabihin kasabay ng pagngiti niya sa akin at pagsabing..

Napayuko ako, my voice suddenly vanishing as words just won't come out of my mouth.
I don't know what to say.
"Hoy," Amara said, her blue eyes throwing a sharp glance at Caleb as she said, "I-i'm sorry." Aniya't namumula ang mukhang sinabing, "I'm sorry for always calling you a weakling. I was just kidding, you're really strong Caleb, I-i'm sorry."
Lihim na lamang akong napangiti nang makita si Caleb na namumula ang tainga matapos marinig ang sinabi ni Amara, 'tila hindi makapaniwalang maririnig niya ang mga salitang iyon mula kay Amara, his number one enemy as he said, "T-thank you." Aniya't nahihiyang kinamot ang batok niya. "You're strong too."
Napangiti na lamang kami ni Belle sa nakita, finally the war has ended nang biglang humirit sa Caleb at sinabing, "Crush mo 'ko no--Aray!"
"Crush yourself, Wolfram." Amara said after harshly hitting Caleb's arm again. Oh, poor thing. "I won't ever like a weakling Protector like you."
"Hey!" Caleb said and he immediately defended his self. "I'm not a weakling, you said it yourself!"
"Congratulations, Protectors." A voice said, making everyone looked at Selene's direction who was clapping and smiling brightly as she said, "You passed the test."
"Test?" Gulat na tanong ni Belle matapos marinig ang sinabi ni Selene. "What test?"
"The test of being a team," Selene answered and smiled genuinely. "As Protectors, you must work as a team and, you did it guys." Aniya't marahan kaming nginitian. "Congratulations."
Malakas na nagsigawan ang lahat matapos marinig ang sinabi ni Selene, sabay-sabay na naghiyawan at nagpalakpakan kasabay ng pagyayakapan naming lahat.
"Yuck!" Caleb and Amara shouted when they realized they we're hugging each other. "Don't touch me!"
Napailing na lamang kami sa kalokahan nilang dalawa at muling nagtawanan.
This is it, I said as I stared at Selene's beautiful purple eyes. The Protectors are finally united. Sabi ko't napalingon sa napakaganang buwan sa kalangitan. Crescent Moon, wait for us!
