"Very good, everyone!" Masayang saad ni Ms. Taal, clapping as she praised everyone. "Good job!"
Nagpalakpakan ang lahat matapos marinig ang kaniyang sinabi, katulad niya'y natuwa sa kinalabasan ng audition kasabay ng pagsabi niyang, "I know, all of you are curious on why we are doing a singing audition in a History class but, I want all of you to know that, we are going to have a Musical Theatre Play!"
Natuwa ang lahat dahil sa kaniyang sinabi, all we're excited as she said, "And the play we are going to act is, Cupid and Psyche's love story!"
Everyone clapped, excited and are very happy as she announced the lead cast.
"The person who will act as Psyche, the leading role is," Anunsyo niya't masayang sinabing, "Selene!"
Malakas na nagpalakpakan ang lahat dahil sa kaniyang sinabi, praising Selene and all we're very happy for her except for one person, Belle, who was only sitting silently on her seat as she continued to scan her book.
Ok lang ba siya? I thought as I looked at her. She seems so, distant.
"Venus, the antagonist will be played by," Anunsyo ni Ma'am sabay binanggit ang pangalang kinagulat ng lahat. "Nicole Sapa."
"Yes!" Masayang sabi ni Nicole, napatalon pa sa upuan niya't sinabing, "Sabi na eh, effective talaga ang Tatlong Bibe! Hahaha!"
"And the person who will act as Cupid is," Pagpapatuloy ni Ma'am sabay binanggit ang pangalang hindi ko inaasahang maririnig, "Caleb!"
"What?" Gulat na sabi ni Caleb, pointing at his self and said, "I-i'm Cupid?"
"Yes, Mr. Wolfram." Sabi ni Ma'am sabay binigay sa kaniya ang script na para sa role ni Cupid. "You will play Cupid's role and you must memorize everything written there." Aniya't itinuro ang makapal na librong binigay.
"What the?" Caleb said, speechless with jaw dropped as he realized one thing. "The hell, magbabahag ako?"
Napuno ng tawanan ang classroom, 'tila hindi makapaniwalang si Caleb na walang ibang kinanta 'kung hindi Bahay Kubo ang siyang makakakuha pa ng main role kasabay ng pagdating ng aming Class Break.
"What the hell?" Caleb said, his hazel eyes showing frustration and confusion as he stared at his script. "I need to memorize all of this?"
"Obviously," A cold voice said, making everyone looked at Amara's way who was placing her tray at our table. "Well, good luck to you. It seems like Ms. Taal is finally taking her revenge." Aniya't sumubo sa kaniyang pagkain. "Pray for your life, Wolfram."
"Hey!" Nakangusong sabi ni Caleb sabay kuha sa ulam niya't sinabing, "That's my line! And wait, is this really happening?" Aniya't amaze na tinuro si Amara na nakaupo sa tapat niya. "Nandito ka ba talaga? Are you finally joining the squad?"
"Isn't it obvious?" Inis na sabi ni Amara't binawi sa kaniya ang kaniyang pinggan. "Don't speak when your mouth is full, Wolfram."
"Woah!" Caleb said, amusement registered in his face as he pointed Amara using his fork. "Welcome to the group, Amara!" Aniya't biglang kinamayan ito sabay sinabing, "You're finally part of the Protector's Club, welcome!"
"Protector's Club?" Sabi ko, brows furrowed as I stared at Caleb. "Where did that came from?"
"Well," Caleb said, moving his brows up and down as he said, "It's our group's name! You know, the same thing such as Power Rangers?"
