Armor suit and deep blue eyes like mine. I mumbled as I remembered my father's image from the Lake of the Mirror of Truth. Father, who are you?

"Winners," Selene said, bringing me back in reality as she mentioned the names of the first pair to compete. "Zion and Amara, please step in front."

Me and Amara obeyed Selene's orders, her sky colored eyes met mine as we stepped on the big circle at the center of the Protector's Camp where all training battles will be held.

"Fire VS Air," Selene announced as she stood right in front of us, her purple eyes sparkling with the moon's light as she raised her trident and pointed it at us. "Are you ready?"

Nagkatinginan kaming muli ni Amara, her blue eyes glowing with determination as she said, "I won't let you win, Zion Pierce." She coldly said, her oceanic deep blue eyes looking straight at me as she said every word. "Prepare yourself for a bloody fight."

"Don't worry, Amara." I said as I slowly took out my sword from my back. "I'm always prepared."

"Fight!" Selene said as Heather raised the red flag, indicating the beginning of the battle.

Agad na nag-ipon ng lakas si Amara, she inhaled every single air she can get and blew it at my direction, making me lose my balance as she made me fly high and drop my back hard on the ground.

"You ok there, Zion?" She asked as she released her beautiful white wings and flew at my direction. "It was just a simple warmup but you already look like a mess."

I smiled at her and ignored the sarcasm in her voice as I stood up and released fire balls around her, making her shout in pain as it exploded and bruised her arm which caused her to slowly fall down on the ground.

"I was also just warming up, Amara." I said as I stared at her pained expression. "Thanks for the compliment."

Her blue eyes darkened as she heard what I said, she opened her palms and released wind arrows which I immediately dodge and shielded my self with my huge fire walls.

"Stop hiding like a weakling, Zion." She said as she slowly melt down my fire walls with her strong wind waves. "Come here and face me."

"Sure thing, Amara." I answered as I released fires around us, making the big circle around us look like a platform of fire. "It's my pleasure." I added with a smile as I opened my palms and released a huge group of fire at her direction.

"Wrong move, Zion." Amara said with a wicked smile on her lips as I stood there with wide eyes and jaw dropped as she stopped my upcoming attack with both her palms opened, removing every energy from my fire and slowly making it vanish and turn into a weak smoke as she closed her fist as if she was controlling my fire with her air. "Your fire can never touch me."

"H-how?" I said as I stared at her with wide eyes. "H-how can you stop my fire?"

"Fire was made up of oxygen, heat and fuel, Zion." Amara answered, her blue eyes sparkling as she said every single thing as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. "And obviously, I can make your fire vanish into thin air as if it never happened."

I knew it, I mumbled as I tried to think of a move in which Amara's air could never touch my fire. I should've listened to my Science teacher when he was discussing about the Fire's content!

Napalingon ako sa Guardian ko nang marinig itong malakas na pumadyak sa lupa, as if he was badly asking for my attention.

I turned my head to him and notice how his flame-burning eyes looked at me with determination, as if he was pointing out something to me.
