"Are you sure?" Caleb said, his hazel eyes glowing with the ocean waves as he said, "Are you sure Amara is an angel? I mean, A-aww!"

"Oops," Amara said coldly, shrugging her shoulders with expressionless eyes after hitting Caleb's arm as if she had done nothing wrong. "Sorry."

"See?" Caleb exclaimed, dismay and confusion written in his eyes as he pointed Amara with trembling hands. "She's evil!"

"Silence," Selene said, stopping Amara and Caleb from another world war as she said, "It's true, Amara is an angel. Her parents are pureblood angels and just like them," Aniya't sinulyapan ang pakpak sa likod ni Amara. "She also has beautiful white wings."

Everyone fell silent after hearing what Selene said, many questions are looking for answers deep inside our thoughts as we looked at Amara who was only silent after hearing everything about her true nature.

Her true being now that her blood has finally awaken.

"How?" Amara said, her blue eyes sparkling with confusion as she looked at Selene's direction and asked, "How did this happened? I mean, I was just a normal person before, a human! And now," Aniya't nilingon ang kaniyang napakagandang pakpak sa likod. "I-i'm flying with these wings."

"Amara," Selene said, her purple eyes glowing with the light coming from the moon as she said, "I know everything was a big blow for you and accepting your true being is not easy but," Aniya't hinawakan ang nanginginig na kamay nito. "That blood, that expressive blue eyes and beautiful wings are a part of you, a part of your whole being which completes you and most especially," Sabi niya't marahang nginitian si Amara.

"The instrument which connects you to your family, a living memory which proves that you're indeed one of them," Aniya't inangat ang nakayukong mukha nito. "That you're their child."

Amara's blue eyes glanced at Selene's direction, her trembling hands slowly calming down as she said, "B-but, why did they get killed if they're indeed angels? I mean, other living creatures should be thankful of their existence for being the world's guardians, right?"

Selene sighed from her question, her purple eyes showing an intense expression as she answered, "Not everyone we're happy of their existence, Amara." Sagot niya't malungkot na ngumiti dito. "Other creatures view Angels as a threat especially because of their high ranking in the Pyramid Tree."

"As you can see, Power controls everything," Selene said, sighing as she continued, "And I think, Hades' dark creatures are not the enemy here."

"Power is."

Natahimik ang lahat matapos marinig ang sinabi niya, 'tila natauhan at ang mga katanungang kaninang naghahanap ng sagot ngayon ay nabigyang kasagutan na.

Power, I mumbled as I stared at the Moon's beautiful reflection in the Lake. Is indeed a threat.

"Tomorrow will be the start of your individual trainings," Selene said, making everyone looked at her way as she said, "Prepare for much stronger fights 'cause this time," Aniya't seryoso kaming tinitigan sa mga mata. "You will be fighting against each other."

Against each other? I thought as I remembered what Selene said, desperately trying to get some sleep even though I knew from the very start that me and sleep are a whole different world. Damn, this whole Protector thing is making me nervous that I can't sleep anymore!
