"Where are they?" Selene asked, irritation evident in her face as she looked at the whole training grounds which only has me and her. "Where are the other Protectors? Bakit mag-isa ka lang dito?"
"Busy sila?" Tanging sagot ko, dahilan upang panlisikan niya ako ng mga mata. "Oh, I think they were not yet done training so.."
"Sorry for being late, Selene." Amara, who was wearing a lovely smile said as Caleb appeared from her back.
Napakunot-noo ako't takang nilingon si Caleb na nakasimangot at 'tila'y wala sa mood.
What happened? Bakit magkasama sila at bakit, nagkapalit ata sila ng katawan?
"It's fine," Buntong-hininga ni Selene sabay nilingon ang paligid in search of Belle. "Si Belle, nasaan?"
"I'm here," Sabi ng walang emosyong boses at blangko ang mukhang si Belle. "I'm late, sorry."
"Alright," Selene said as she stared at her complete pack of Protectors. "Now that everyone's here, should we begin?"
Nagkatinginan kaming lahat, 'tila'y kabado't walang alam sa 'kung anong posibleng mangyayari lalo na't si Selene ang makakalaban namin.
We will be fighting against a Goddess, the Moon Goddess!
"I'm ready," Amara said as her eyes sparkled with confidence. "I'm ready to fight."
"So am I," Caleb said as he looked straight into Selene's purple eyes. "I'm not afraid to fight you."
"How about you guys?" Selene asked as she looked at our direction. "Are you ready to start this training?"
"Yes," Belle answered without any evident expression in her eyes. "I'm ready."
Napatitig ako kay Belle. Something about her seems so strange.
"Zion?" Selene asked, taking me away from my deep thoughts. "Are you ready?"
"Yes, I am." I answered as I took out my sword.
"Alright," Selene smiled wickedly and said, "Mind you guys, I'm a Goddess and I'm.."
"Not an easy opponent."
Kasabay ng huling sinabi niya ay ang malakas na paghila sa amin ng liwanag. The brightness was so strong, it felt like it can destroy our whole being.
"Close your eyes," Amara commanded as she released her beautiful white wings. "Selene is the Moon Goddess and light is probably her source of strength." Aniya't nagpatuloy.
"That's why," She said as a small smile escaped from her lips. "We must fight her with darkness."
"What?" Caleb said, completely surprised at what Amara said as he followed her instruction to close his eyes. "Fight her with darkness? How?"
"As you can see, we can't control our powers with this much strength of light. We can't see clearly and obviously, she's doing this to distract us from using our techniques, so that we can't execute it properly which could greatly harm ourselves."
"But, how can we know if our attacks are directed at her?" Belle asked with her eyes closed. "I mean, we cannot see her with our eyes closed, right?"
"That's why we must be sharp and focused. We should not be distracted and we must always be conscious in our surroundings. Remember, fight the real enemy."
