I slowly closed my eyes, felt the strong presence of nature around me as I opened my palms and prepared myself for training.
Alright Caleb, I mumbled as I open my eyes and saw Green Head's figure in front of me. Here goes nothing...
"Gyaa!" Malakas na sigaw ko, almost sounding like Tarzan as I wrapped my guardian's legs with the tree's vines and released strong shockwaves, making him
growl in pain as electricity surrounded him, paralyzing every inch of his body.
Game Over, Green head. I mumbled as I stared at his paralyzed figure. I won.
Nagulat na lamang ako nang bigla siyang nakawala mula sa atake ko't nagpalabas ng Earth Explosion, making me fall hard on the ground as he controlled the ground with vibration.
You're one mean Guardian, Green Head. I mumbled as I tried to stop the ground from vibrating which was making my head throb so bad. Bad Guardian.
I opened my palms and controlled the stones, transforming and making it larger as I throw it at my guardian's direction.
Agad niyang naiwasan ang mga atake ko, his incredible guardian skills showing up as I raised my hands and controlled the ground, leaving him with a confused expression as I trapped him inside my tall earth walls.
I'm sorry but you won't win against me today, Green Head. I said, smiling with satisfaction and ended the game with my Earth Wolf's loud growl, making the earth tremble as if an Earthquake occurred and said, Game over.
"Nice move, Wolfram." A cold voice said, stopping me from my tracks as I heard Amara's loud claps. "You did great."
Napalingon ako sa direksyon ni Amara, gulat nang makita ang nakangiti niyang itsura't napakunot-noo nang makita ang hawak-hawak niya. A soda?
"Uh, for you." Amara said, her cheeks blushing and turning into a soft shade of red as she handed me a drink. "T-thank you for saving me the other night."
I stared at her sky-colored eyes, notice how much beautiful it is as I accepted her offer.
"Thanks," I said, smiling as I looked straight at her blue eyes. "Saan ka nakakuha nito?"
"I-i always have one in my bag," She said, her cheeks still blushing as she avoided my gaze. "It's my favorite."
Her favorite? I mumbled as I stared at the drink she gave me. Amara has a favorite drink?
"Thank you," I said, flashing a genuine smile as I looked at her direction. "You shouldn't have done this--"
Agad akong napatigil nang mapalingon sa mapulang labi niya, saw how much we lack distance and realized that with one single move, I could kiss her.
"S-sorry!" Sabay na sabi namin, agad na napalayo sa isa't-isa kasabay ng pag-iwas namin ng tingin.
Damn, I mumbled as I felt my cheeks burning. This is so gay.
"A-about the kiss," Amara said, her voice suddenly trembling as she looked at me straight in the eyes. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have done that. My brain was a mess and I can't even understand myself." Aniya't bumuntong-hininga. "Let's just forget it, ok?"
Forget it, I said, suddenly felt the heavy metal in my heart as I heard what she said. That fast? J-just like that?
Nagulat na lamang ako't naestatwa sa kinatatayuan ko nang maramdaman ang kamay niya sa ulo ko.
"Feather," She said, gently tapping my head as she removed the thing. "You have a feather on your head."
Agad 'kong nilingon ang bagay na sinasabi niya, saw a feather, her wing's feather and took it from her hand.
"My mother once told me," Aniya't nginitian ako. "That if a feather landed on your head, a blessing will come in your life." Sabi niya't tinitigan ang mga mata ko. "You're lucky, you'll get to receive a blessing from Heaven."
A blessing, huh. I said as I stared at her deep ocean eyes. I wonder what kind of blessing it is.
"Sige," She said after a short period of silence and waved her soft hands at me. "Alis na ako--"
"Wait," Agad na awat ko, stopping her from leaving me as I pointed at the battleground. "Why don't we train ourselves?"
Her eyes landed on the battleground, confused if she should stay much longer with me or just, leave me alone.
"Ok," Aniya't nilabas mula sa likod ang armas, bow and arrows. "Careful Wolfram, I'm not very much of a merciful opponent. I shoot straight and never miss a single point."
"Don't worry, Amara." I said and flashed a smile while revealing my spear. "I won't forget that."
Amara attacked me with her hurricane and invisible arrows which I immediately dodged and shielded myself with my Earth Shield.
I blocked her attacks with my huge Earth Wall which made her flew up in the sky with her beautiful wings and tried to attack me with her invisible Air Blades.
I dodged her attacks and released my Earth Bombs, stopping her next move as it exploded right at her direction.
"Is that all you got, Amara?" I said, a naughty smile forming on my lips. "Your arrows won't hurt me--" Napatigil ako bigla sa pangangasar sa kaniya't napahawak sa braso ko nang maramdaman ang matulis na bagay na tumusok rito.
"Careful, Wolfram." Amara said, revealing a smirk on her face. "You don't know me." Aniya't nilabas ang kaniyang elemental creature, Air Eagle.
Napalunok na lamang ako habang nakatitig sa kaniyang elemental creature. Ayan, yabang pa more Caleb.
"Alright then," I said, revealing my Earth Wolf. "Let's end this battle."
Our elemental creatures immediately attacked each other, my Earth Wolf was releasing Earth Bombs which exploded right at Amara's Air Eagle which was also attacking my Earth Wolf with it's large hurricane and invisible Air Blades.
Amara's Air Eagle blocked my Earth Wolf's attack with it's hurricane and absorbed every attack it was using against Amara's Air Eagle.
Napasimangot ako and saw my elemental creature being attacked with it's own elemental abilities. That is so unfair.
"Well?" Amara said after her Air Eagle knocked out my Earth Wolf, my poor baby. "Don't you have anything to say, Mr. Wolfram?"
I sighed, looked at Amara's direction and flashed a genuine smile.
"You're a good fighter, Amara." I said, looking straight at her deep blue eyes. "You're amazing."
I saw how her cheeks blushed upon hearing the words I said.
"T-thanks," She said, avoiding my eyes and smiled shyly. "You we're amazing too." Aniya't napanganga na lamang ako nang harapin niya ako't nakangiting nilahad ang kaniyang kamay sa harapan ko. "You know what, I think we should stop acting like babies quarreling with each other. Selene's right, we are Protectors and as Protectors, we must work as a team. L-lets be friends?"
I smiled, felt the weird pumping of my heart as I took her hand and accepted her offer.
"Yes," I said, flashing a wide smile. "Friends."
