"Are you sure you're ok?" I asked Selene as I help her sit. "Wala bang masakit sayo? May—"
"I'm fine, Zion." She said, smiling. "Don't worry about me, I'm a Goddess remember?"
"Pinakaba mo kami, Selene." Amara said, her blue eyes shining with relief. "I thought we would lose you there, Caleb got even lost in himself and transformed into a Lycanthrope to save you! Good thing you're safe."
"Thank you so much guys," Selene said with a warm smile. "I owe you my life, thank you for saving me."
We smiled and laughed as we enjoy our last night together before the final battle. The night of the Crescent Moon.
"Sorry," Belle, who was missing the whole time said as she take the seat beside Amara. "What did I miss?"
"What's wrong with you, Belle?" Amara asked with furrowed brows. "Bakit palagi ka na lang nawawala? Wala ka rin habang nakikipaglaban kami sa bampira. Anong ginawa mo?"
Natahimik kami, all eyes are on Belle as she expressionlessly said, "I was trying to help the injured people." Aniya't nilingon ang mga taong may mga bandage sa kanilang mga sugat na natamo. "I thought the three of you were already powerful enough to defeat the demon so instead of fighting, I used my power in healing people."
Amara sighed, still a bit unconvinced by Belle's answer but she respected it and said, "Alright, just don't do that again next time. We are a team Belle and if one's gone missing, we can never fight properly as Protectors."
Belle just smiled blankly at Amara as she sip her wine.
Belle, I whispered as I looked straight into her brown eyes. What happened to you?

"Hey," Caleb whispered beside me when the group went ahead of us. His hazel eyes looked straight into my ocean ones as he said, "Are you ok? You look so lost and deep in thought. Tell me, is there something bugging you?"
Napalunok ako, 'tila'y hindi magawang maging kumportable sa paraan ng paglapit ng mukha niya sa akin lalo na nang matandaan ang nakaraang nangyari sa aming dalawa.
"I can't do this with you anymore Amara. Hindi ko kaya."
Napatigil ako, confusion clearly written in my face as I feared that he might not want to be my friend anymore.
He doesn't want to be with me anymore.
I bit my lips and tried so hard to stop myself from crying when I heard the next thing he said.
"I can't be friends with you anymore. I don't want it." Aniya't niyakap akong muli ng mahigpit.
"I want to be more than that."
"Nilalagnat ka ba?" Alarmang sabi ni Caleb sabay tapik sa pisngi 'kong sasabog na ata sa sobrang pula. "Bakit namumula ka?"
"W-wala," Kabadong sambit ko't inalis ang hawak niya sa mukha ko.
Argh, how can this guy touch me as if nothing special happened between the two of us?
Caleb was confused for a short while as he stared at my ocean eyes and said, "Nahihiya ka ba sa akin?"
"H-huh?" Gulat na sabi ko't pinanlakihan siya ng mga mata upang di mahalatang totoo, nahihiya ako sa kaniya. Hiyang-hiya ako! "Bakit naman ako mahihiya sayo?"
