"It's you," Sabi ni Selene sabay tinitigan ako gamit ang walang emosyong mga mata. "The person who killed my parents."
Napatigil ako, gulat sa mga salitang narinig mula sa kaniya kasabay ng pag-atake niya sa akin.
"Selene, it's me!" Sabi ko't pinipilit pa rin siyang maalala ako sa kabila ng malalakas niyang pag-atake sa akin. "I'm the man you love, Zion.."
"No!" She said angrily as her eyes turned into a darker shade of purple. "You're the one who killed my parents! You destroyed my family." Sabi niya't walang control na inatake ako gamit ang kaniyang kapangyarihan, dahilan upang mapaupo ako sa sahig matapos tumama ang likod ko sa pader.
"Zion!" Sigaw ni Amara nang makita ang ginawa sa akin ni Selene.
"Selene, bakit mo ginawa to?" She asked while looking at Selene's dark purple eyes.
"Ok ka lang, bro?" Caleb asked as he help me stand up.
"Yep, I'm fine but Selene.." Sabi ko't malungkot na tinitigan ang babaeng mahal ko. "Something's wrong with her. She doesn't remember me."
Gulat na napalingon si Caleb sa direksyon ni Selene kasabay ng pagwawala nito.
"I will kill all of you!" Galit na sabi ni Selene sabay nagpakawala ng malakas na enerhiya mula sa kaniyang mga kamay upang atakihin kami. "You killed my parents! You destroyed everything!" Gigil na sambit nito habang patuloy na nagwawala gamit ang kaniyang kapangyarihan.
"She needs to calm down," Amara said as she looked at Selene's frustrated expression who is trying to kill us. "She might destroy the palace if she won't stop."
"But how?" Caleb asked as we remembered the only thing that can calm her, her friend Phoenix cannot be released since the pearls are not complete. "Belle left the group, we have no idea how to release Phoenix!"
"Maybe she can remember Zion," Amara said as she shielded us with her wings. "She loves Zion so much, I'm sure she'll remember him."
"But she just tried to kill Zion, earlier!" Caleb exclaimed.
"Let's just give it a try!" Amara answered as she looked at me with pleading eyes.
Napabuntong-hininga ako, dahan-dahang tumayo mula sa kinauupuan ko't mahinang bumulong..
Selene, please remember me.
"Selene," I said as I tried to touch her trembling hands. "Don't be afraid," I said as she tried to take my hands off her in order to make another attack. "I'm here with you, I won't leave you alone."
Natahimik si Selene, 'tila'y nagulat sa mga sinabi ko't tinitigan ako gamit ang kulay lilá niyang mga mata.
"Do you remember how we spent our sleepless nights before?" I said while softly touching her cheeks. "How you touch my face and the way you called me as your beautiful creature?"
I saw how her blank eyes slowly sparkled when I said these words, "I love you Selene," Sabi ko't niyakap siya ng mahigpit. "Now and even before."
Selene turned silent for a short while and I thought this could be my chance to bring her back to normal when we heard a loud laugh.
"What a great sight," Hades said while laughing like a mad man. "How does it feel getting almost killed by the woman you love, Demigod?"
