I threw the car keys on the counter. "Honey I'm home" I said and realized Hazel wasn't in the living room and neither was my babygirl. I shrugged and opened the fridge and grabbed out a can of tea I bought yesterday at Walmart when we went grocery shopping. An average family you see? I dumped the water out that I had earlier, not to be rude.
I then kicked off my shoes and threw my coat on the couch and went upstairs. I heard the tv on and the door was open to my room so I walked into my room and saw Hazel watching tv with Zolita laying next to her chewing on a squishy and safe toy of hers.
I went on my side of the bed and laid next to them and Zolita was in the middle. I wrapped my arm around her and gave me a hug while laying down. Zolita started crying because I was irritating her. Hazel started laughing and so did I. "Kellin stop! You are making her angry" she laughed and I picked her up and sat up and closed my legs, and almost fully laid my legs out and put Zolita on my thighs. She was facing me and I was sitting up facing to her and the tv. Hazel was now on her phone, a little her time. I smiled at my creation and scrunched up my nose.
"Zoe, why do you look like me so much and not your mother" Zolita smiled slowly and Hazel slapped my arm. "What its true" I giggled and I saw Hazel side smile. "KELLIN!!" Hazel yelled. "What?" I said a bit scared and completely grabbed Zolita and held her properly.
"Was the stove off??!" She asked eagerly. I frozed as shrugged my shoulders. "I will check, stay here with Zoe" she said but I grabbed Zoe and slowly followed. Hazel hurried down the stairs and then turned to the kitchen and sighed. "It's still on oh no" she hurried to the counter and turned it off. There was smoke but luckily no fire. "How long has it been on?" I asked. "Well I warmed Zoe's milk 5 minutes ago and oh my god imagine a fire" I stared at the stove and walked over but turned my body to my left so Zoe wasn't near the heat.
I turned the fan on and took a step back and looked at Hazel. "Kellin.. We need to talk.." Hazel said. She didn't look nervous. "Yeah let me go put Zoe to sleep. You fed her right?" Hazel asked and I nodded and smiled.
I walked up the steps and went to lay Zoe down and then her eyes slowly shut and I could see her drifting to sleep. I dimmed the night light we had one, and turned the baby monitor on and then slowly shut her door. I saw Hazel picking at her nails right next to me and I just gave her the most confused look.
"Kellin.. I did something terrible" she said and my guts dropped. How bad can this terribly be? "What do you mean?" My face dropped as well as my insides. "I-Kellin promise you won't physically hurt me or an-" she held her mouth and swallowed. Her eyes were getting glossy, sparkling her eyeballs.
"What the hell Hazel. I will never ever touch you like that. Hazel what did you do?" I took a step closer, my smile still didn't budge because it disappeared. "I had sex with someone Kellin. While you were on tour a couple weeks ago" my heart just broke. I took a step back and I moved my head away from her. Thank god me and Hazel have separate cars.
I walked into my room and grabbed out a suitcase and threw clothes in it along with other needs. "Kellin I am sorry" Hazel was in tears but that didn't stop me from wanting to leave. I didn't speak. "Kellin please dont leave! At least accept my honesty" she sobbed. "Accept the fact that you cheated?! You expect me to be fine? Hazel I fucking love you so goddamn much and for my closest friend you, to just throw that all away and replace me just makes it all better!" I sarcastically said and smiled.
I zipped my suitcase up and stormed downstairs grabbing my jacket, and shoes along with my keys and rushed out the door. I put it all in the car and then went back inside. Hazel was still up my ass. "Kellin please wait" I am not wasting my time. I went upstairs to Zolita's room and threw many clothes in a big bag of hers. We stocked pampers and wipes in both our vehicles so I have that ready.
I grabbed everything a baby needs, her formula and medicine. She has her own water in the backseat of mine so, check. Blankets are also in the bag, check. Car seat is in my car, check. I grabbed her and wrapped her in the blanket and slowly picked her up. I shut the monitor and the light off as I walked out dragging the bag with my foot. "Kellin what the hell? She is mine too!!" She cried. I didn't care anymore. All I cared for is my baby, family, fans, and friends. "Hazel not now. I'm giving you plenty of time to actually think or time you spare with your new lover."
I slowly bent over and wrapped the bag around my shoulder and closed the door and walked past Hazel with no words. I exited the house when I did, and opened my car door but I made sure Zoe was doing okay snuggled in her blanket. I opened the car door and laid Zoe in it and made sure she was able to be buckled in. I then sat the bag by her on the seat and then locked the doors with my keys and went on my side and used my key to unlock the door so Hazel doesn't try and take Zolita away. I saw Hazel crying on our doorstep which fucking made me want to go crazy for her.
This girl made me go crazy in love with her. She is my wife, and she broke a law in marriage. That was the least anyone could do, not love another while you promised to love someone for the end of their life.
I shook my head and noticed I've been sitting here thinking so much about how I am feelings for what happened. I turned on the cold heat because the summer, it gets hot and the car heats up. I pulled out of the driveway and drove away. This is happening once again.
