13 - New apartment

The next morning i wake up with a smile on my face. I still lie next to Tobias with only a blanket wraped around me. Luckily today is sunday and so we will be able to take care of everything we have to because of our new apartment. I smile at the thought. A whole new apartment that is tobias and mine. Maybe we can get a dog as well. I will have to talk to tobias about this. I get out of bed and slip on one of Tobias shirts and a pair or his boxers. I giggle a bit and slip in the kitchen. I put on a pair of proper pants and write Tobias a quick note before i walk in the cafeteria. Sundays at this time its always full to every corner in the cafeteria - just like today. I sigh and take a tray. I squeeze myself between two people i don't recognise and get four breads. Then i get some cheese and butter. From the cooks i get one piece of dauntless cake also two plates with scrambled eggs and bacon and two blue berry muffins. Smiling i return to the apartment.
Tobias still lies snoring in bed. I smile and softly shake his shoulders. He groans and rolls over. "Tobias." I say and shake his shoulders again. He groans again and rolls on his other side. I sigh and press my lips on his. As soon as i feel him kissing back i pull away. "Morning sleepyhead. Sit up i got us breakfast." I pick up the tray from the floor and then get the hot chocolat i just made. Tobias smiles at me. He already sat up and also put a few pillows next to him for me. I smile and place the tray on his lab and put the cups on the bed side table. Then i sit down next to him and he places half the tray on my lab as well. We start eating and luckily Tobias has the day of as well so we just spend about two hours laying in bed next to eachother. Kissing and talking.
At about 2 pm we stand infront of the office of the living department. We smile at eachother and enter the room. Three people are spread around the room. One in the left corner, one in the middle and one in the right corner. All three people sit behind a desk and have two chairs opposie from them.
We walk towards the one in the right corner and sit down in the chairs. We intervine our hands and smile at the man infront of us. "Hello. My name is Charly. What is your problem?" He asks friendly. Tobias leans forward a bit. "We would like to move in together and would like a new apartment for the two of us together." The man nods and gets out two formulars and places them infront of us. "I suggest that you both have apartments, so please write down your names and your apartment numbers. Then i'll look in the system what i can find for you." We smile and both write down the dates he needs on the formular. "Here you go. Tris and Four." I say and smile at Charly. He gasps. "You are tris and four?" I look at tobias confused. "Euh yes." "Oh its really nice to meet you." He shakes both of our hands again this time with a bit to much effort. "Yes yes. I don't mean to be rude but could you hurry a bit?" Tobias says and smiles a bit. "Oh of course, of course. Sorry." He types something in the computer and then prints out a sheet. "Here you go. I'll just show you your new apartment." He wheezes in the back and comes back with the key only a few seconds later. He weezels infront of us and leads us to the top floor. I look at Tobias and grin at him excited. He smiles back at me.
Charly unlocks the door to our new apartment and we step in after him. I gasp. The apartment is amazing. The first thing you see is a floor to ceiling window. The floor is wodden. There are four doors and one open door way. The open door way leads into the big kitchen that includes the big dining table with five chairs and a full furnitured kitchen. In the living room stand two couches, one dark red and one black, and a wodden couch table between. There also is a huge book shelf at the left wall.

The first door leads into a guest bedroom. It contains a double bed and a wardrobe. Also an armchair and a chair. The walls are painted white except for one which is painted dark red. Opposite from the door is a big window and the bed stands under the window. I squeeze tobias hand and he smiles at me.
The next door reveals a guest bathroom with a shower and a toilet. The walls are white and the floor is made of black stone plates.
Another door leads to the guest bedroom.
On the other side there is the master bedroom.
It has a huge window on the left wall. The bed stands on the right wall with the head to the wall opposite from the door. Next to the bed are two tables. The wardrobe stands in the corner of the left side of the door. There is a small couch next to the bed that is dark red. "Its perfect!" I exclaim and beam at Tobias. "I guess we will take it then." He says and i jump up and down next to him. Charly smiles and holds a paper out for us. We both sign it so it really is the apartment of both of us. Charly hands the key to us. "Congratulations. Your new apartment."
Charly leaves and i squeel loudly and hug tobias closly. "This is our apartment!" Tobias says and twirls me around. I laugh and press my lips to his. "You can't believe how happy i am right now!" I squeel. Tobias laughs. "I think i got a taste of it." I smile and kiss him again. "Lets get our things. Maybe our friends will help us." I nod eagerly and run infront of tobias. "Come on! Hurry up!" Tobias laughs whole heartly. "I'm coming. I'm coming."
Not twenty minutes later all our friends stand in our old apartment each with a box. Chris, Shauna and Mar take care of our clothes. Lynn and Zeke manage the few cooking utensils we have. Uri, Will and I stand in the new apartment and they help me put the things at the right place while Tobias manages the things in our old apartment. Mar, Shauna and Chris arrive with two boxes that Mar and chris carry while shauna carries only a single bag. I smile and together with Uri and Will put the things in the wardrobe. The boys take care of tobias things while i put away my own.
The boys arrive with four boxes and place them in the kitchen. All together we put the things away and then even transfer the few food we have into our new fridge and into the kitchen cupboards.
When the last book is placed at the proper place we all sit down on our new couches. Tobias and I get a piece of dauntless cake and a drink for everyone and then we sit in our new apartment and eat and drink. We have one girls and one boys couch. I sit between Lynn and Chris. Chris sits next to Shauna and shauna next to mar. The couch table between us is packed with plates and cups. Coats and pieces of clothing lie all around but i somehow like this bit of untidyness. It shows that people actually live in this apartment and that its not just meant to be a museum.
After eating we just sit around and talk about different things. The baby gets mentioned and Shauna shows around an ultra sound. "Aww look at this little feet." Chris coes and strokes the paper. We all laugh and i take a look at the picture. You can't see much but you recognise the nose and the feet pretty good. "This really is cute. Is it a boy or a girl?" Mar asks after she gave the picture to the boys. Shauna smiles widely and zeke looks proud. "Its a girl." Shauna says and grins. Everyone flips and we all congratulate her a lot.
"Did you decide on names yet?" Will asks after everyone settled down a bit again. This time zeke answers. "Not yet. We have a few options. I personally like lea or lya. Shauna on the other hand likes Katie or Julia." We all think about the names for a bit. I am the first to answer. "I think i like Lya best. Maybe as a second name Julia." Everyone nods. "Yeah i guess that is a good idea." Shauna says. "Yeah i think i love it. Little Lya." She lies a hand on her stomach lovingly. "Lya Julia." Everyone smiles and imagines the little baby. Well maybe everyone apart from Lynn and Tobias. I can't imagine that tobias has seen a newborn baby in his life - i grin at the thought - and lynn looks so grumpy that she can't be thinking of a baby.
After another two hours of talking our friends leave and we are alone with our new apartment. I run in every room and take in every detail. Tobias on the other hand just sits in our bed room and stares at the wall opposite from our bed. For a while i study him before i remember what his problem is. I take one of the black spray cans we bought to give our apartment a bit of colour and place it in his hand. "You can write it." He looks at me suprised. "How did you know what i was thinking?" I smile at him. "I think by now i know you good enough." He nods and weighes the can in his hand. I sit down next to him. "Talk to me." I say softly and lie my chin on his shoulder. "I don't know whether i should spray paint it. I don't want to have that fear anymore. I want to fully overcome it. I want a new life together with you and he shouldn't be a part of it." I squeeze his hand that he sliped in mine while he talked. "Then i know the place where you can check." He smiles down at me thoughtative and chews the inside of his cheek. "Okay." He stands up and pulls me to my feet as well. "Okay lets go." And so we walk towards the fear landscape room hand in hand.
