Tobias
I only return to the factionless headquarter when its pitch black. My clock shows exactly 11 pm. I know that the guards change every half an hour and my mother goes to bed around 12. So i have to wait. I pull my coat tighter around my shoulders and sit down a few streets away. The picture of a blood smeared tris keeps haunting my mind. Is she still alive? Did the doctors managed to save her? Did she even reach the hospital? Maybe she died just after i left? Oh god why did i leave? Why did i leave? I pull my knees to my chest and circle my arms around my legs. I rest my head on my knees and stare in the dark air. My breath forms in little clouds infront of my mouth and i rub my legs. This is going to be a long night.

At exactly 11.45 pm i slowly walk towards the headquarter. I look at the window of my mother. There still is a small light on. A small candle that spends only a bit of light.
Only ten minutes later the candle is out and my mother closes the curtain infront of her window. I smirk. Exactly 12! I sneek over to the back window. I know that a guard always stands infront of her office window but of course mine isn't guarded. I hop and my hands wrap around the edges of the balkony. I pull myself up and stand on it. I reach out and grab the edge of my window. I pull myself up again and open my window easily. I alway keep it unlocked. I get in and my feet hit the floor boards. I know the places where the wood makes sounds and avoid these places. I slowly open the door. I screeches a bit and i cringe. Nothing happens. I walk down the stairs and towards my mothers office. I push down the handle and open the door. I smirk when i notice that the door is not locked. I know that there is no guard inside of the house. She never had to fear something from within. I slip through the small space inside the room. I don't completly close the door though. I get out my small flashlight. I can't draw to much attention to myself or the guard outside will notice. I open her first drawer where i know she keeps a lot of lists and she has a list of everything. I bet my right hand that she has a list of who has the guns at what day. I have to open three more drawers and look through five folders before i find the folder: weapon. Yes! I cheer in my head. Just in that moment i suddenly hear the floor boards creech outside. I freeze and look at the door. A small light shines under the door. Shit! This has to be the night guard! Maybe he saw my light... i quickly switch it of and slip under the table with the folder on my lab. I pray that he won't look properly. The door opens and the guard steps in. I see his boots come closer untill they stand right infront of the table. The flashlight wanders across the room. It lights the book shelf, the chair and the big cupboard before it switches over to the desk again. The guard turns around again and switches of his flash light. To my shock i hear how he puts a key in the lock and the lock clicks shut. I squeeze my eyes shut. Shit. I let my head hang before another idea pops up in my mind. If the guard is here in the house, he can't stand under the window. I slowly stand up and look out. And sure enough there i no one. Quickly i grab the folder and look it through. Yes! I got the list. I pull it out in a rush and copy the names of the people who had the gun today on my hand. I put the sheet back in the folder and put it away.
I glance out of the window. Far away i can see the faint light of a flash light. Now or never! I quickly open the window and jump out. My feet hit the ground hard and my ankle twists. I have to keep myself from crying out. Ignoring the pain i start running. My ankle protests. It screams with pain but i keep running. If i stop now the guard will catch me and then i'm doomed. I run untill i can barely breath anymore and my ankle hurts so much i can barely put any weight on it. I stop and hear whether i hear steps following me. The night is quiet and i can hear nothing but my own heavy breathing. When i look around i notice that i am pretty close to the erudite sector. I sit down in a doorway. I switch on my flashlight and put it between my teeth so i can use both of my hands. I pull my pants up and then slowly undo my laces. I slowly slip my shoe from my foot. Tears gather in my eyes but i just ignore the pain. I just hope its not broken. I pray that its not broken. Luckily it doesn't look like it. My ankle is swollen but not as much as it would be if it was broken. I sigh a breath of relief. I rip away a long piece of my shirt and take a small pretty straight branch. Clenching my teeth on the flashlight i wrap the self made bandage around my foot. Heavily breathing i take a look at my work. The branch sticks out under the cloth but at least it stops me from moving my ankle to much. I limp towards a tree and with all my strenght i rip of a long strong branch. I lean a bit of weight on it to see whether it supports it. It does and so i limp towards the erudite hospital. On my way i keep telling myself the names that i wrote on my hand so i remember them. Edward, Mark, Luis, Miriam. Edward, Mark, Luis, Miriam. Edward, Mark, Luis, Miriam.
