The following days I looked after Lamara. Her wounds seemed to heal well and from time to time she remembered something, nothing of great importance yet still a small victory. As she got better I noticed a changing in Ramons behaviour. He visited her daily and after half a moon when she was able to walk longer, he showed her around in our village, always talking and laughing. He acts strange and I don't know what to make of it. One evening he called me to see to Lamara because she has been having feverish dreams. She was in Ramons hut now and he had built a bed just for her.

"How is she?" I asked when I stepped inside his home. "She talks about strange things and sees many coulours surrounding her." Why would she suddenly get a fever? Maybe she got infected by an insect although we are imune to most of them. "Ramon, get me a bowl of water and a pice of fabric. Also there is a little box on my shelf painted in red, if you could bring that to me?" I asked kindly. " Of course" he hurried outside. I sat down next to her, when she felt the weight on the bed her eyes slowly opened. "What is wrong with me?" she whispered. "I don't know yet, I suspect an Insect bite but I am not certain" I placed my hand on her forhead. It was warm and her hair was wet with sweat. Her eyes were unfocused and she started to mumble just as Ramon said. Speaking of him he came back with a bowl of water and a towel over his shoulder. In his other hand he was holding the red box. "Thank you." I put the fabric in the water and than laid it carefully on her head. She sight when it touched her hot skin. Then I opened the box, there were many herbs inside each kind in a separate square. I took out a purple one which were smashed and dried berries to lower fever. "Open your mouth and chew them" I told her. She nodded and took them, slowly one after another vanished behind her lips. Then I took a deep breath and calmed my mind. I layed my hands on her chest and concentrated, imaging that I draw out the heat of her body and replaced it with cool water. I could hear her a sharp bearth of surprise. Suddenly there were feelings rushing through me that didn't belong to me. Fear of disappointment and hurt of a betrayal. Anxious of not fulfilling something. I forced my spirit to shut out her emotions and gathered my thoughts. I continued a while longer until the skin under my hands seemed to have a normal temperature. When I opened my eyes again she was starting at me with with wide eyes. Full of wonder and something else that I could not make out. "How are you feeling now?" I asked a bit exhausted. "Better, my head seems clearer and my body does not longer burn with heat." She looked relived. "You should rest now, before you fall asleep again, take another few berries" " I will" I smiled. " Ramon I need your help, can you come for a moment?" I called when I was already standing outside. He hesitated a moment then got up. I got a bit of distance between us and the hut when I started to talk. "Ramon, something strange just happened. I sometimes get a glimpse of emotions when I chanel energy but that usually is pain or fear. But I never felt such a range of emotions as I just did. I am worried for you. Something about Lamara does not feel right. I don't know what and I can't explain why, it is just my instinct that tells me." First he looked concerned, then he was smiling kindly which irritated me. "You must be exhausted sister, I'm sure that something like that can confuse anyone. I can't imagine how it must be to have such powers. But I asure you, there is nothing wrong with her. She is kind and most amusing. Believe me, when you get to know her better, all your doubts will go away. I thank you for helping her." He ended. We stood still for a moment then he went back inside leaving me alone in the night.

I spent this night outside, sitting next to the stream and watching the moon, wondering about the things that happened, trying to find an answer. But even when the sun already started to show her face, I had found non. Maybe Ramon was right and I was just tired amd confused but this feeling of something being wrong did not leave. I will try to get to know her better, maybe it will solve the mystery.
