I need to wake up, I can't leave Tyler alone like this. I paced my room back and fourth, pulling on my hair. I need to wake up, I have to. I stopped at the foot of my bed as Tyler laid next to me, my body. 'Josh, get up!' I begin screaming at my stupid body, 'don't leave Tyler alone like this!' I grabbed my body but I didn't go through it. I felt my cold body, I connected with it and I could feel myself again. I twitched my fingers hoping it'd work. It did. Tyler woke up and I did it again. He started yelling for the nurse excitedly. I laughed at how goofy be looked. I was admiring him, I can wake myself up. I looked back at my body, wake up Josh. I leaned down, staring at how lifeless I looked. Tyler no longer was laying on me, so I looked over at him. He was frowning, wait why. "Josh, wake up. Please." He sobbed laying back on my chest. I felt his tears again and he wrapped his arm around me. My body. I started pacing again. "Wake up!" I shouted at myself. My eyes begin to go dark, darkness was flowing in. I started freaking out, my chest was hurting. "Josh," it was my mom. We were in my childhood bedroom. I was laying in my bed, with my alien pajamas and my mom was rubbing my cheek gently. "How are you feeling Josh?" She said genuinely concerned, I remember this day. My birthday, I was sick as a dog and we had to cancel my party. I was so upset over it, "mom my birthday is ruined." I pouted at her and she laughed a little. "It's okay sweetie," she rubbed my forehead this time. Her hands were cold and I drifted to sleep.
"Josh." I woke up to my sister pushing me. "Joshhhhh," she pleaded at me. "What is it Ashley ?" I asked rubbing my eyes. She laughed at me, "school." Ashley stated and walked out. Right. I groaned and got up walking to the mirror to fix my messy brown hair. I grabbed my favorite jeans and ufo shirt, and went to the bathroom. It went dark again.
This time I was with Debby, on our treehouse date. She was smiling brightly at me, "I love you, Josh." "I love you too, Debby." I responded back. "I want to bring our relationship farther," I said getting on one knee. Her eyes glistened in the lightening, she started nodding before I could even ask. "We have to keep it a secret," we said at the same time. We kissed and darkness poured over us, drowning out the quiet music. I opened my eyes and seen Tyler, this time I felt him. I felt him in my arms and squeezed him tightly. He groaned, and then sat up quickly. Gleaming with excitement, "you're awake," he said as tears begin streaming down his face. I nodded, reaching for him. He leaned into my face, I cupped his face and wiped his tears with my thumbs. "I will never leave you Tyler." I said as tears streamed down my face. I pulled him into me and kissed his lips lightly but passionately. "I promise." I whispered.
