Falling for her/him

Chapter 1

Amanda's POV

Today is the first day back to BGT. I'm so excited to see all my fellow judges again. It's been ages since we have seen each other! I'm driving to the studio now so I can be there early. I text Alesha and told her to show up early that way we had some time to see each other before the show. She's my wifey and like my best friend ever. I pull into the studio parking lot and turn the car off. I take a deep breath before getting out of the car and walking inside. I open the door and it's like a fresh breath of air being back at the studio. Especially after all the struggles since I've been gone. "Amanda?" I hear a voice say. I look up to see Alesha with her arms spread open.

"Wifey!" I scream excited running at her and hugging her. "I've missed you so much Alesha!" I say hugging her tightly.

"I missed you to Amanda!" She says pulling away from me and smiling her signature smile. 

"Is David here yet?" I ask quickly.

I feel arms wrap around me and spin me around. "I am now!" I hear a voice laugh. Once on my feet I spin to see David and I attack him with a hug.

"David how have you been?" I ask.

"Fantastic! Writing books and playing in shows. How about you?" He asks nicely.

"I'm always good!" I say smiling. After I'm done talking to David I start looking for the one person I missed the most. I look in his dressing room and anywhere else I could think of. When I can't find him I decide that he's probably gonna be late. Typical.

I walk to makeup where I see my favorite makeup artist Steven. He's been doing my makeup since I've been on BGT. I walk to my chair and sit down letting him do his work. When he's finished he smiles at me and nods his head. I give him a hug thanking him and then look at my phone. I see we have 5 minutes until the show so I go backstage where David and Alesha are.

"So I'm guessing Simon's gonna be late?" Alesha says smiling.

"I guess so." I say laughing. "But he's always been like that. Either really early or really late." I continue laughing. David and Alesha laugh along not caring who was looking. We hear Ant and Dec announce us and we all join hands walking out on stage. We are met by cheers, screams, whistles, and signs. I smile at the sight and walk to the desk sitting where I normally sit. On one side of me sits Alesha and on the other side is an empty chair where Simon would typically sit. 

After about 10 auditions there is a burst of cheers coming from the audience. I look up from the paper I was writing on to see Simon walking towards the desk. I stand up with a huge smile on my face and meet him with a hug. I hide my face in his neck and say "Your extremely late Cowell."

"I know I am." He chuckles before letting me go.

I take a seat back at the desk and watch Simon walk over to Alesha and David. He hugs Alesha and David before taking a seat beside me. He leans over to me whispering in my ear "Did I miss any good performers?" 

I look at him thinking about what he means by good before speaking. "You missed 4 amazing performances!" I say smiling at him. He nods his head and then turns to the stage waiting for the next performer to come on. I stare at him for a second before thinking of an idea. I grab my phone and wave my hand at Alesha and David. They look at me and then realize what I'm wanting them to do. They get right behind Simon and scare him and right as he reacts I snap a selfie of all of us. He looks at me with a knowing smile and asks to see the picture. I first post it on Instagram and Facebook before showing him. He takes my phone looking the picture and a smile spreads across his face. He hands the phone back to me and lays his arm across the back of my chair. I smile at him and lean forward watching the next act.

After the show finishes I walk backstage with the rest of the judges. As soon as everyone settles I jump at Simon hugging him as tight as I can. I leave a red kiss mark on his forehead and then kiss both his cheeks. "I missed you too." He says laughing uncontrollably.

I let him go and sit beside him starting a conversation with the rest of the judges. "So Simon why were you late today?" I ask 

"Yes why was my Simey late?" David asked giving his sweet smile. 

"I actually had to take care of Eric." He says happily. 

"It's been so long since I've seen little man! When is he coming back up here?" I ask excitedly.

"I'll bring him tomorrow so you can see him." He says brightly. "All of you can see him if you want." He says waving at all 3 of us.

"Yes" We all say at the same time.

After chatting for a bit longer I decide it's time to change into something comfortable and head home. I go to my changing room and slip on a pair of shorts and a t-shirt. I put on my socks and vans then head out to my car. I get to my car and realize Simon and I are the only ones left in the studio. Unlocking my car I slide myself in just as it starts to rain. Putting my key in the ignition I turn it and nothing happens. I twist again and nothing. "Shit!" I yell.

I bang on my wheel once and swing open my door. I step out and think I can just walk home it's only a 5 mile walk. After about a mile I'm soaked from the rain. "Amanda?" I hear a voice say.

I turn around to see Simon's car with him in it. "What are you doing walking?" He asks

"My car broke down so I'm walking home." I say shivering.

"That's ridiculous. Let me drive you home." He says leaning over to open the door.

"No, No Si I've only got like 4 more miles." I say rubbing my arm trying to warm myself.

"Amanda just get in the car." He says looking at me seriously.

I finally give up and slide into his car cold. "Jeez Amanda your shivering." He says taking off his jacket and giving it to me.

"No, keep your jacket. I don't...." "Amanda put my jacket on you shivering. It will keep you warm." He says interrupting me. I take his jacket and slip it on. As soon as it's on my body there's instant warmth. "If you don't mind I have to pick up Eric before taking you home. It's only like 5 minutes from here." He says looking for an answer.

"Yes of course. I've been wanting to see that little boy anyway." I say smiling at him brightly.

He looks at me with his melting brown eyes and flashes his bright smile at me. Once we pull up to a house. "Wait here and I'll bring him out." Simon says getting out of the car. I pull out my phone looking at a few notifications before I see Simon and Eric coming at. I open my door and get out picking up Eric wrapping him in my arms. "Hey Eric! You've gotten so big in a year!" I say rubbing his back and then putting him in his car seat. After I'm done I get back in the car buckling my own seat belt.

"Ready to head home Manda?" Simon ask putting the car into drive. 

"Ready! I'm super cold so can't wait to be able to change!" I say rubbing my hands together.

As we ride to my house we talk about the show and what's coming for the show. As Simon pulls into the driveway I invite him and Eric inside to hang out for a bit. He accepts politely and I run inside so I can change. I run to my room changing into my shorts and tank top. I walk out to the living room where I see Simon and Eric taking a picture together. I smile widely before opening my mouth. "Hey Eric I have some toys for you to play with. They are brand new!" I say getting out a basket of toys for Eric.

"When did you get these?" Simon asked leading Eric to the toys.

"Last time he was over here there where no toys and he didn't have much fun. So I went out and got toys for him so that way when he came back there would be some." I say explaining myself.

"Well darling that's very sweet of you." Simon said pecking me on the cheek.
