Simon's POV

I drive to my Mum's place and pick up Eric and then drive back to Lauren's place. I knock on the door and she answers right after.

"Hey, what are you doing back here?" she whispers.

"I'm giving Eric to you. I'm not leaving him with Amanda and I can no longer take care of him." I whisper knowing I'm doing something stupid.

"Oh okay. So, your not staying?" she asks nervous.

"No, I gotta get out of the UK. Probably will go back to the states and stay with Demi or something." I say. She nods her head and takes Eric. He starts to cry and call my name but I keep walking. He screams and then runs after me and I try to pull him off but he won't let go.

"NO! Daddy!" he screams loudly.

"Eric, let go!" I shout at him. He looks up at me with tears running down his little cheeks and I know I've broke his heart in two. Taking away the only mother he knew and then leaving him behind. I'm such a fucked up person.

"Don't leave me." he cries. I finally get him to let go and run to my car with him chasing right after me. I pull out and he's screaming Daddy. I drive off and look in the rearview mirror to see Lauren hugging him tightly as he cries. I don't want him hurting anymore and this is what I gotta do. He'll thank me when he's older. I keep driving until I'm at the airport. I grab my bag and sunglasses then walk to my private plane where they will take me to L.A. and leave me there. I'll go to my home and stay for a few years. Let everything blow over and then come back.

Amanda's POV

I lay in Alesha's arms waiting for Simon to come back but I know he's never coming back because that's who he is. Always running when things are hard. I finally pick up my phone and have six missed calls and ten new messages. They are all from Lauren and so I call back.
"Hello." She sounds panicked.
"Hey Lauren, what's going on?" I ask quickly.
"Simon, dropped off Eric and was very cruel to him and then said he's leaving and that he won't be back for a long time." Lauren says.
"Okay, ill take care of it." I say quickly and then hang up the phone. What in blue blazes is this man thinking. I bet I know exactly where he's going. He's going to where none of us are but he still has friends.
-13 hours later-
I arrive in LA because I took the fastest flight to find Simon. I don't know my way around but I do know a young, feisty woman that does know her way around.
"Hello." She says.
"Hey, Demi, I need a favor." I say quickly.

"Sure, what's up?" she asks.

"Do you know where Simon lives?" I ask quickly.

"Yeah." she says.

"Can you pick me up from the airport and take me there but don't tell him. There's a lot going on." I whisper.

"Yeah sure, be there in half an hour." she says and then hangs up.

After Demi gets here she helps me with my bag and then helps me into the car. I sit in silence until we get to Simon's house where I run to the door and find the extra key above the door and let myself in. Once I'm there I see Simon passed out on the couch with multiple whiskey bottles surrounding him. Demi comes in and drops my bag, running to his side.

"Simon." she whispers. He doesn't move, he just lays there and stays silent. She looks at me and I finally move to him. I check to make sure he's breathing and his pulse and heart are strong. Once I'm done I finally decide that he's fine and tell Demi she can stay for coffee and hang out with me if she wants. She accepts so we pick up six bottles of whiskey and then drag Simon to a room downstairs and into a bed. After we finish we sit down on the couch and begin to chat.

"So, what's going on?" she asks.

"We technically aren't even together because we broke up and then when we tried I pushed him away and then he moved out and said some horrible things and then came here." I say quickly.

"Wow, sounds like something Simon would do." she laughs.

"Yeah, he's a runner but he can only run for so long." i chuckle.

"Well, enough about Simon. Let's have some fun." she laughs and jumps up, grabbing my hand and pulling me to the kitchen.

Simon's POV
-2 hours later-

I wake up to complete and utter quietness. I have a massive hangover and for some reason I'm in a guest bedroom.

"Odd." I whisper and then push myself up. I walk out to the kitchen and there's dirty dishes in the sink that I don't remember. I sigh and wash the dishes and then walk into the living room. Demi is sleeping on my couch and I don't remember having her over. I just brush it off and walk upstairs.

Amanda's POV

I walk upstairs to what I'm guessing is Simon's room and it smells just like him. The room is drowning in his smell. I walk to his dresser where he has pictures of Himself and Eric. I then pass another of Eric and I. There's a few like that and then at his bedside table was a picture of him and I on our wedding day and a picture of me at a modeling shoot. I smile and sit down on his bed grabbing the photo of me and him.

"Amanda." I hear my name called. I jump up and in the doorway is Simon.

"Simon." I answer in a trembly voice.

"What are you doing here?" he asks in confusion.

"I-I needed to come and talk to you." I whisper.

"No! You don't get to do that. I-I pushed you away." he begins to cry.

"It takes more than telling me you don't love me to push me away." I whisper again and start stepping closer to him. He takes a step closer and then shuts the door and looks at me, frozen.

"Simon, talk to me please." I croak.

"Please just leave." he says.

"No, your not pushing me away." I yelp and he holds his face in his hands. I finally am right in front of him and pull his hands down from his face. His face is red and his hands are trembling. I hold them in my hand and his body finally clashes with mine and he begins to sob.
"Shhhh, my poor baby." I whisper and rub his back. When he finally stops crying enough he picks me up and we lay down on the bed with his head on my chest. I scratch his back softly and he holds me tightly.

"I should have never left." he whispers.
"I'm so sorry." he says.

"Don't be. Just rest and we can talk later." I say and run my fingers through his hair. He nods his head and soon we both drift off to sleep.
