Falling for her/him

Chapter 38

Amanda's POV

-1 month later-

I'm laying on the couch with Simon when I feel a really sharp pain in my stomach. I double over in pain and Simon is right beside me making sure I'm okay.

I look down and see a puddle on the floor. "Simon, she's coming!!" I say gritting my teeth.

"Oh Shit!" He says running and getting Eric and then helping me to the car. After about 5 minutes we are at the hospital and Simon pulls me into the ER.

"She's going into labor!" He says to the lady. She jumps up and grabs me a wheel chair taking me back to a room.

Simon's POV

 I run back with Eric in my arms and the lady stops me.

"Are you sure you want him in there sir?" She asks softly.

"Shit." I mumble.

"I can care for him until a person comes for him." She says with a warm smile. I nod my head and call David and tell him whats up. He says he'll be over in 3 minutes and hangs up. I run into the room with Amanda and she grabs my hand squeezing tighter than ever.

"Babe you gotta loosen up or I will lose my hand." I say softly. She looks me in the eyes and I just brush aside the pain. Alehsa runs in and greets me out of breath.

"Where's Eric?" I ask looking around.

"David has him." She says putting on a mask and standing on the other side of Amanda.

"Are you okay babe?" I ask pushing her hair back. She nods slightly and then I hear a machine go off and I look around to see and doctor and a few nurses rushing around.

"What's wrong?" I ask the doctor.

"We lost the babies heart beat." He says before telling Amanda she needs to deliver.

"I'll need you to get out." The doctor says to Alesha and I.

"No, she's my fiancee and that's my kid." I say sternly.

"Sir, I will have you removed by force if you do not go now." He says angrily.

Alesha grabs my arm and we walk out of the room. I feel myself drowning in my thoughts about what could be wrong and I eventually break down sliding to the floor in defeat. Alesha wraps her arms around me to comfort me and whispers encouraging things in my ear. 

-4 Hours Later-

I see Amanda's doctor and run to him. 

"Can I see her? Is the baby okay?" I ask frantic.

"The baby's healthy as an ox and Amanda is free to see." He says with a smile and then pats my back and walks away. I run to her room and step in the doorway and there she is cradling the baby. She looks up and nods her head for me to come to her. 

"She's so beautiful." Amanda whispers with a huge smile.

"May I?" I ask reaching my hands out. Amanda hands me the baby and I feel tears slowly escape from me. 

"Hey there." I say running a finger across her cheek. She starts to whimper but I pull her closer to me. "It's okay Daddy's got you."

"Alesha Cowell JR." Amanda says while holding my forearm.

"I love it." I cry. Soon a nurse comes and takes her away and I stay with Amanda holding her hand and soon falling asleep with her running her fingers through my hair.
