Falling for her/him

Chapter 28

Simon's POV

-Day of Live shows-

I'm in my dressing room pulling on my button up when I hear a knock on the door. I open the door and to my surprise there's Demi Lovato. I pick her up and hug her tightly. She wraps her legs around me and laughs. 

"What are you doing here?" I ask putting her down.

"I'm the performer for today and I'll be here for all live shows!" She says excitedly.

"Oh! I've missed you a lot Dem!" I say hugging her again.

"Awe, you have a heart." She says with a huge grin. I look at her with a knowing look and she laughs.

"Okay, Okay I've missed you too old man." She says giggling. She looks in the mirror and adjust her make-up while I watch her in fascination.

"You know you staring at me is really weird." She says fixing her lipstick.

"I'm not staring.....I'm observing." I say quietly.

"What's there to observe Si?" She asks putting her hands out.

"How much you've changed and grown since I last seen you. It's been a long time without you Demi." I say softly.

"Well, your the one who up and left with no way to contact you or anybody else! How do you think that made me feel?" She said looking at me seriously.

""Demi, I'm sorry I thought since we fought that you had nothing to do with me." I say quiet.

She lets out a heavy sigh and walks out of the room. Slowly shutting the door behind her and not looking back. Soon it's time to go on stage and I'm met by Amanda who kisses me excitedly and then joins her hand in mine. I smile weakly as we are introduced on stage. We come out and take our seats and then Demi is introduced on stage and at first she is singing "Give Your Heart a Break."

"Wait, Wait." She says out of breath. "Guys this isn't the song I need to do. I came here to give you guys a performance and something you would love so here we go." She hums in the mic and begins singing softly and then getting stronger and louder. The band catches on and I slowly listen to the lyrics that she sings and realize she is singing "Stone Cold" one of her newer songs.

Once she's done she stands on stage happily. I stare in awe until I'm pulled out of my trance by a pair of lips hitting mine. Screams get loud and cheers are louder. Once pulled away I realize it's Amanda and I also realize Demi never knew about her. Demi stands on stage with a hurt look on her face, almost as if she will cry.

"We have an announcement to make." Alesha says in a mic. "David and I are engaged and so are Simon and Amanda!" She finishes excitedly.

Amanda jumps out of her seat and hugs Alesha and David happily. I just sit staring at Demi who has tears running down her face. Dec asked her if she had anything to say.

"C-Congrats you guys." She says and I hear her voice crack. She quickly walks off stage and to what I assume is her dressing room for live shows. Once I called to break I excuse myself and speed to find Demi. I knock on her door and she doesn't answer so I give up and walk to where Amanda, David, and Alesha are chatting. 10 minutes pass and I hear a shrill scream that I identify as Demi's.
