Chapter 70

Amanda's POV

I wake up naked, cold, and alone on my couch. "Simon." I call out his name. No answer. I guess he left. I go to get up and put my clothes on but find a note on the coffee table. 

Dear Amanda,

I had to meet Lauren but I'll be back later on tonight. 

Love SimonXx

I smile and put my bra and underwear on. I pull on my jeans and then my shirt and walk to the kitchen to grab a glass of water. I get a cup but decide on drinking some wine.

Simon's POV

I'm sitting at dinner with Lauren but the whole time i'm thinking of Amanda.

"Simon, are you listening?" Lauren asks.

"Yeah." I reply.

"What did I just say?" she asks.

"You were talking about getting back together." I say.

"That was ten minutes ago." she says looking down at her feet.

"Lauren, I'm sorry but I don't think this is working. " I sigh.

"Yeah, I understand." she whispers. "Can I at least get a ride home? I took a taxi here." she says.

"Yeah sure." I nod my head and she follows me to my car. I open the door for her and she slides in and then I get in after her. I drive to her house and she just sits there.
"Lauren, don't be upset." I whisper.

"Why can't I?" she asks.

"Because there's someone so much better than me that could treat you better and not cheat on you with a co-worker." I say.

"Yeah, but your the one I want to kiss in the morning and tea with in the evening." she says. Next thing I know her lips are on mine but I feel nothing. There is no spark or excitment there. I push away and tears are now down her face. She gets out and runs inside, not even looking back. I let out a heavy sigh and just drive back to Amanda's. I knock on the door but there's no answer. I knock again and still no answer. I finally let myself in and walk through the house and there's Amanda passed out on the floor.

"Amanda, what did you do?" I ask quickly and am by her side.

"Hey Si, I'm okayyyyyy." she slurs and waves me away.

"Your drunk." I sigh.

"NO, I'm not drunk! I can count to three watch! One, two, three." she says, holding up five fingers.

"Amanda, come here." I whisper and pull her into my arms.

"Si, what are you doing?" she giggles.

"I'm taking care of you." I say, picking her up.

"I can walk, put me down." she says with pouty lips. I put her down and she starts walking and then looks at me. Her face goes pale and she pukes all over me and herself.

"Mandy." I whisper. 

"I'm sorry." she starts crying and I just pick her up and walk to her bathroom. I turn on the shower and start to undress her. Once she has no clothes I help her into the shower and then undress myself and put myself in with her. She looks at me and then comes closer and lays her head on my chest and puts her hands on neck. I put my hands on her waist and she just listens to my breathing. Eventually both of us are rinsed off and I carry her bare body to her room and sit her down. I look through her drawer to get underwear and a bra. I put both on her and then let her lay down. I cover her up and soon she falls asleep. I look through the other drawers and she still hasn't got rid of my clothing. I get a clean pair of boxers and shorts. I pull both on then walk downstairs to lay down on the couch. Soon enough I fall asleep wondering about tomorrow.

Alesha's POV

I'm laying in my bed when David comes in with a smile on his face.

"What's got you all bubbely?" I giggle.

"I want to be a dad." he says.

"OH." I say in a blank tone.

"I've wanted to try every since things went down with Mandy and it's been so long. We have never actually tried. I think we said we would like twice but then didn't actually do it." he rambles.

"David, we did try. Twice and it didn't work." I whisper.

"Who's to say number three won't be lucky." he says excitedly.

"You really want this don't you?" I chuckle.

"More than you know!" he says and kisses me.

"Okay we can try but if this happens you have to promise no funny business. i chuckle

"Okay!" he yelps
