Falling for her/him

Chapter 3

Amanda's POV

Last night with Simon and Eric was fantastic! I am still pumped to see them tonight and find out how everything turns out. I'm beginning to like Simon in a way I never thought I would like him. We have always been best friends and stuck together. He's the one who helped me through depression and anxiety. He has always been there for me and I for him. I hope I'll be able to get enough guts to tell him soon.
-5 HOURS LATER-
I walk into the studio and make a b line for Coffee. I grab a cup and sip slowly while walking to make-up. As I get to make-up I see David getting his put on so the lighting doesn't interfere. I sneak up behind him and scare him. He jumps and the turns his head to see me.
"Amanda I'm gonna get you for that." he says smiling. I peck his cheek and sit in my chair beside him.
"No you won't. You love me to much." I say smirking.
"Wanna bet?" he asks glaring.
I think for a moment and then answer "Fine! What are we betting on?"
He looks at Simon and then smiles a devilish grin "If I scare you I win and if I go to scare you and you don't get scared then you win. Winner gets to kiss Simon."
My eyes bulge looking at Simon then back at David. "Okay deal." I said shaking his hand.
Simon looks at me with wide eyes and slowly walks to me when David walks away. "Why did you make that bet?" he asks smiling.
"Because why would anyone turn down kissing their boss for no reason and getting a good scare." I say patting his chest.
"You actually want to kiss me?" he asks smiling.
I lean my head closer to him and whisper "Can you keep a secret?"
He nods his head slowly so I reply "Good so can I." I said quickly before walking away. I walk to where we come out together. We all join hands and once announced walk out together with smiles on our faces. 

-2 HOURS LATER-

After auditions are over David and Alesha run backstage to find Eric. Simon and I stay sitting at the desk talking for a few minutes.

"So, Eric is excited to see you tonight." He says smiling.

"Yay! He was pretty upset before y'all left this morning." I said frowning.

"You calmed him though. You know Amanda you would be a great mother one day." Simon says smiling.

I blush slightly and respond "Well hopefully I will be one."

"One day you will. Hey you want to go to dinner with me tonight?" He asks confident.

"Sure!" I say excitedly. "Wait what about Eric?" I ask worried.

"Oh David and Alesha will watch him at your house. Let me just call them and let them know and then you and I will leave. Why don't you go change into something comfortable." He finishes before getting on the phone.

I run to my dressing room quickly changing into ripped jeans and a BGT t-shirt. I slip on some converse and right as I walk out I bump into something. I fall down then look up to see my ex husband in front of me. "D-Dennis what are you doing here?" I ask stumbling over my words.

"I came to talk to you." He said firmly.

"Hey Amanda when your..." Simon starts while walking towards me. He stops midsentence when he see's Dennis.  "Dennis why are you in my studio?" Simon said grimly.

"I actually came to talk to Amanda. Alone." He said glaring at me.

Simon looks at me making sure it's okay. I give him a small nod before he opens his mouth "Alright well I'll be out here Amanda. If you need me." Simon said walking away.

I walk into my dressing room slowly with Dennis behind me. He shuts the door quietly and once he does I spin around waiting for him to speak. "Amanda, I don't know how to say this but.... I want you back." He says slowly.

"D-Dennis I-I can't d-do this. I d-don't w-w-want you b-b-back." I say stuttering out.

He looks at me funnily and then furrows his brow. "Why not Amanda?" He asks cross.

"Dennis you abused me every chance you had. MY LIFE WAS HELL!" I yell at him.

"Amanda shut up! Your being to loud you don't need to go public with that shit." He says gritting his teeth.

"Why not? You didn't even serve time! Because why? Because you get what you want when you want!" I whisper yell back.

"Amanda I said I'm sorry." He getting more angry.

"Sorry! Are you kidding? Do you have any idea how hard it was to cover bruises and make excuses to people?" I ask looking him in the eye.

"Your getting ready to have to cover another if you don't shut up." He says slowly raising his hand little by little.

I step away slowly shaking my head. "Dennis don't you dare. I'll make sure you end up in Prison this time!" I yell hoping Simon heard. I turn my  head and before I realize it I feel a sting on my face. I feel another but on the other side and I fall to the floor. I feel warm tears slide down my face and I look up to see Dennis with his fist reared back. He looks me in the eye before punching me. I let out a scream and then everything goes pitch black.
