CHAPTER 27 (Aira)

(POV ni Aira)

I was on a hill, looking at Kyle, who apparently is looking for me right now.

I don't know why, pero kinutuban lang talaga ako. I know that after finding out what I did, alam kong he'll come look for me (and likely try to kill me... lol). But di yun ang iniisip ko ngayon.

Nobody knows who I am and which people I'm related to. Not even Alex, which naging classmate ko noong high school. Di ko rin kilala ang mga tao dito, except Alex, that's why I was actually surprised na this was the Kyle everyone was talking about here sa campus. I still can't believe that this is the same guy I flirted with sa bar the other night.

What's the most surprising? Sya rin pala yung bestfriend ni Kuya (Raph), and hindi rin ako makapaniwala na ginawa ni Kyle yun sa kanya.

I don't know.. He's a jerk for me so far,  just like Alex described to me one time. I really hated it nang isumbong nila sya for no apparent reason, but I guess he just did it because they're fighting over Jamille Lenon (Alex's girlfriend) so I understand what Kyle feels. To be honest, I actually don't want to do what I did to her. I mean, I'm not a remorseless girl or whatnot like they see me, pero ginawa ko lang yun para makaganti kay Alex.. Tsss... Paasa sya! Grabe! Kala ko pa naman hahanapin at babalikan nya ko! Hmph! Di pa rin ako nakakalimot sa ginawa nya sa'kin noon...

Anyways, fortunately, I was a witness for the whole ordeal. I'm the only one who knows what really happened to Kuya, besides this guy I'm staring at right now...

(Flashback - the day Kuya was beaten up)

After seeing Alex, Jam and my kuya's girlfriend (Khaela) brought him to the hospital, I quickly followed them there in secret. After all of them got home, pumasok na ko sa kwarto ni Kuya Raph to check on him.

"Ma'am sino po kayo? Anong ginagawa nyo dito sa room ni Sir Raph??" It was some butler who's watching over Kuya... Never seen him before so...

"Am I supposed to be the one asking you that? I'm Aira. Raph's sister. Sino ka? Di ka naman isa sa mga butlers namin sa house di ba?"

"Oh I'm sorry Ma'am Aira. Di po kasi nababanggit ni Raph at ni Ma'am Khaela na may sister sya. Anyway ako po si Mr. Vincent, steward po nila Ma'am Khaela at andito po ako para bantayan sya."

Well my kuya's GF was really sweet of her... warfreak nga lang (parang nung inaway nya ko dahil nagfli-flirt ako kunwari kay Alex... well. it's my fault anyways...)

"Well thank you Mr. Vincent." I said to him with a smile. After that I approached my brother. He looks asleep although he's really beaten up. "How is he?"

"Ahmmm sabi po ng doktor, okay na daw po sya. May mga minor fractures lang po at kailangan pang obserbahan kaya 1 week po syang maco-confine dito..."

"I see..." Hay naku Kuya. Mas malala pa dito yung nangyayari sa'yo pag binubugbog kita... Alam kong kaya mo 'to. You're the most bravest guy I know.

I stayed for him and Mr. Vincent for the night. Kinabukasan before 6 in the morning, I went home para di ako makita nila Ate Khaela. I also told her steward na wag sabihin ang tungkol sa'kin...

(THE DAY ALEX WAS EXPELLED...)

During my break that day, I quickly went to the Dean's para tuparin yung usapan namin ni Jam.

"Oh, Miss Rodriguez. What brings you here? How's your brother??"

"Ahmm, okay na po sya, but I have another reason why I came here. It's about Mr. Alex Perez."

He seems puzzled. "Why? Mr. Perez was already expelled yesterday because of what he did to Raphael."

"Di po sya ang gumawa nun." I blatantly told him the truth.
