Chapter 1

3rd POV
Ezra was sitting on his knees. His eyes were covered, along with his ears. He was outside. On a large platform with nothing in sight. A few birds were heard chirping in the back. A breeze passed by Ezra's covered ears. He pressed a circular button and put it in his pocket.

Droids rose from the ground. Eight B1 droids, six B2 droids and two BX droids. He activated his lightsabers. The purple and blue lightsaber buzzing in the air. He was holding the purple saber in reverse grip. Ezra put another button on the floor. He took a deep breath and softly stomped on the button and kicked away. The droids started shooting at him. Ezra began to deflect the blaster shots.

After deflecting five of them he took out two B1 droids and three B2 droids. A BX droid was about to shoot him when Ezra cut his blaster and Force-pushed it off the edge. He sliced through five B1 droids with ease. Ezra then Force-jumped to the B2 droids and decapitated two of them. All Ezra had left was one of every droid.

He took out the B1 droid first by crushing it's head. Then he impaled the BX in the head. Lastly, he Force-gripped the B2 droid and brought it to him. He then sliced it in half. When was done, he was panting and a couple of sweat droplets formed on his forehead. Ezra sensed something coming from behind. He didn't have time to recognize who it was.

"Careful there," Ahsoka's nervous voice spoke. "It's just me."

Ezra lifted the blindfold. His lightsaber at Ahsoka's throat.

He deactivated the saber, "Oh, hey Ahsoka. Sorry for that. I was just practicing."

"It's fine, Ezra. I shouldn't have surprised you like that," Ahsoka said. Ezra clipped his lightsabers to his holster.

Ezra laughed a litte, "I guess."

"I still can't believe you have a purple lightsaber," Ahsoka grabbed his saber. "It took Master Windu a long time to get his."

"A very long time, I know. But, you're still amazed?" Ezra took a lightsaber back. "You saw it five months ago."

"I don't care," Ahsoka rolled her eyes. Ezra chuckled. She took off the cover from his ears.

"So, what are you doing here?"

"Oh right! Uhh, Ezra, Master Windu requests you to meet him outside the Jedi Temple."

"Like now?" He asked while dropping his blindfolds. Ahsoka nodded. "Alright. Thanks for telling me. I'll see you later."

"Bye Ezra," Ahsoka waved. He waved back and entered the Temple.

She standed there for a few minutes. Although the kiss never happened and they really never talked about the kiss ever since it happened, nothing was awkward between them. They both knew their friendship was a bit more than that. Yet, they were to afraid to say anything.

Ezra walked out the doors and Mace was standing there. Facing the other way, staring into the city.

"Master Windu, you called me?" Ezra approached him.

"Yes," Mace turned. "I need you to go to Bespin."

"Bespin? What for?" Ezra questioned.

"For a Republican Cruiser that crash landed there. They have no communication with us anymore. All the other Jedi are to busy to go, but you're not," Mace pleaded.

Ezra stayed silent. He hasn't done something like this a a while. He's done something similar, but not a Republican Cruiser. That was harder to take care of. To many things can go wrong.

"Are you sure I can handle that type of situation?"

"Yes. You can handle that type of situation. You're just questioning your limits. You and I both know you can control this," Mace Windu noted. Ezra stayed silent again. "However, if you think it's to hard for you-"

"No, no. I can handle it."

"Are you sure about that?"

"Of course. I will prepare a search party and gather the 501st to come along and help," Ezra rushed to the building. Mace smiled at his hurrying Padawan. His smile soon turned into a serious face.

"He's ready," he clutched his fist and looked up. "He has to be."
