Throughout the rest of the school year, Tzuyu and I grew much closer. We spent most of our time together, whether it was just the two of us, or we were with family or friends. More often than not, it was just the two of us, though. Either way, we always had a good time.

She'd always been touchy feely, but the amount of times she touched me increased so much, that there was rarely a moment when she wasn't touching me in some way. Most often she had her arm around my shoulders or my waist, or she was holding my hand. Sometimes, she would do both at once. And sometimes, when she didn't think that was enough, she would just put me in her lap, her arm around my waist to keep me from falling off.

On top of that, we started acting more like a couple than just friends. We cuddled most nights, talking until one of us fell asleep. She would often give me quick little kisses at random times, just because she felt like it. Not that I minded. In fact, I always enjoyed her kisses, sometimes even stealing my own when I wasn't satisfied with just one. She would also tell me that she loved me at least twenty times a day. Every time she left me on my own, even if she was just going to the bathroom, she would tell me. She clearly didn't want me to forget it, not that that was even possible.

When summer vacation arrived, we only got worse. We spent just about every moment together, more so than before. We spent entire days doing nothing other than cuddling and talking, of course with the occasional snack and bathroom breaks, but afterwards, we would go right back to cuddling. And quick little kisses somehow turned into heated make out sessions. Of course they never went too far, but that was mostly because I was a prude, and dirty deeds scared the squirrels out of me. Not literally of course, but you know what I mean. And the amount of times she told me she loves me increased greatly. She'd say it every few minutes. Once, she even wrote it on my arm in Sharpie because she'd vowed silence until Victoria agreed to let Tzuyu borrow her car when Minhyuk had taken hers. It was actually kind of funny how she'd smile at me and point to the words every few seconds.

We acted so much like a couple, that I started referring to us as one in my head. It made me happy to think of us as being in a serious, committed relationship and not just as friends. And while I thought of us as being a couple, we weren't really official until July.

Victoria was so sick of Tzuyu, so she told her to go spend a couple weeks at their beach house. She refused to go without me, so I had to beg Mom and Jongin to let me go with her. They surprisingly agreed, and so the following morning, Tzuyu and I set out for her family's beach house.

For the next two weeks, we did just about everything there was to do in the area. We went to the beach at least three times. One of those times we built a sandcastle, another one of those times, I buried her in the sand, and another one of those times we took a moonlit stroll along the shore. It was incredibly cliché, but Tzuyu insisted that it had to be done. I was initially annoyed by it, but when she kissed me, my annoyance went away. I mean, how can you be annoyed when an extremely attractive lady, who you have ridiculously strong feelings for, kisses you in the moonlight? You can't. It's impossible. Trust me, I tried. It was just too damn hard, especially when she told me she loved me right afterwards, and then proceeded to kiss me again.

We went shopping on the pier, and Tzuyu bought me a ridiculous floppy hat and much less ridiculous sunglasses. She also bought me a necklace with a squirrel pendant because she knew how much I loved squirrels. I insisted that she needed a souvenir of her own, so I bought her a leather bracelet, and when she said she didn't wear bracelets, I threatened to cry if she didn't wear it at least once. She eventually agreed to wear it for one day, and then the next day, she pretty much refused to take it off, claiming it had sorta grown on her. I knew that in reality she liked it even before then because I'd seen her looking at it while we were in the gift shop.
