Ch.58 Narration key

After the 'Wonder diner' Kayla and Ramona took a walk down the sidewalk as they talked about Ever After.

"So were you able to talk to mom?" Kayla asked.

"Oh I tried" Ramona said "But she couldn't understand wolf, she didn't recognize me, I mean how could she I was covered in fur and had paws and a tail. I had to spend all that time as a wolf until that kind old man led me through the door."

"And how long have you been here?"

"I don't know, I lost track, and I've been trying to find you but I couldn't. But when I did, I was too nervous to approach you cause I was afraid you would fear me."

"Why would I fear you? Wolves are my spirit animals."

"I just thought you changed when the curse happened, I thought you didn't remember me."

"Well I did at one point, but Raven was able to break the curse, well, not fully though."

"Well that explains why I couldn't leave Ever After, there's this magic border that keeps anyone from entering Ever After."

"Oh yeah I've heard about that, that sucks."

"Kayla!" Elena called as she went up to them "I heard Ramona's here now."

"I am" Ramona smiled.

"Well it's good to see you again" Elena smiled "But how did you get here?"

"Well to make a long story short, a kind old man led me through this door that brought me here."

"Interesting, but uh, why did you get left behind? Everyone who was at Ever After when the curse happened was brought here."

"Oh that was because of my necklace" Ramona showed her her necklace "It's enchanted with powerful fairy magic that protected me from the curse."

"Wait" Elena said with interest "That necklace protected you from dark magic?"

"Pretty much."

At that point Elena got an idea.

"Oh my God" she said surprised.

"What?"

"Uh, can I borrow your necklace? I promise I'll give it back when I'm done with it."

"What are you gonna use it for?"

"I'm gonna see if it's powerful enough to cross the Storybrooke line."

By the time it was pass midnight, everyone had left the bar, except for Brooke and Wendell who were sitting at their table.

"I must thank you Brooke" Wendell smiled "This a night I will truly remember."

"Well I can make it more memorable" Brooke smiled "There's something I wanna show you."

She then reached into her purse and pulled out the thin case as she opened it and held out the enchanted quill.

"A quill?" Wendell said.

"It's more than that, it's one of the most important things I have, it's special. You see, there's something about me I haven't told you."

"Well you can tell me, I've told you all my secrets, you can tell me anything."

"Okay" she smiled "The truth is, I'm not from this world."

"You're an alien?"

"Well" she giggled "Not really, I'm actually from the fairytale world, you know stories like Snow White and Sleeping Beauty, I'm from their world."
