You had managed to find a way through the maze of hallways and ended up back at the staircase that you started at. You had already been told that Crowley was in the throne room and busy with work, but you were still unsure if you wanted to go back yet, or if you were ready. You were still upset and mad at Crowley, but you also loved him. You hadn't told him that yet, but it was true.

You sucked in a deep breath, cleared your mind, and walked up the stairs. You placed your and on the door handle, and readied yourself. You realised you would have to face Crowley anyway, so you pushed the door open, only to find an empty hallway. You were almost positive the Crowley would be there. A demon told you that Crowley wouldn't be there, so you were sure he would've lied. But apparently not. *Maybe he is waiting in the room,* you thought.

As you made your way there, you found you were wrong. The only person in the room was the demon, just as he had said. Demons were supposed to be vicious and cruel, but so far, you were completely wrong.

"Oh, hello. You were quicker than I thought. I was hoping you didn't get lost in the hallways down there, but it seems you made it out quickly. Good then. We will see the King when you are ready. You can get changed and redo your hair. The King would like to see you in something formal and pretty. A dress really.  I wouldn't bother though, you look very pretty if you were to ask me," he said.

Not only were demons the opposite of what you thought, but this one said you looked very pretty. Game changer. You took a second to gather your words, still a little thrown off by the sincerity of him.

"Oh well thank you. But if that s what he wants, then I best go change," you replied. He nodded and you went to go change in the walk in wardrobe. You needed a dress, but it had to be one that was formal and pretty. That was easy. You spun around in a circle to see if anything caught your attention. And just as before, you found the perfect dress. It was a long red slit dress, the colour of a rose, and it was perfect. You slid into that easily enough, and stared in awe. You looked....amazing. Now all you needed was shoes to go with it. luckily enough, you remembered seeing some from the other day. You hunted for them at the bottom of the wardrobe, but instead found something better. The heels were of the same rose red and a were in your size. You looked in the mirror and smiled, but then gasped realising that you hair was a mess. You rushed into the bathroom, feeling the demon's stare as you did so. You wanted your hair down and didn't want to keep the demon waiting. So you put your hair half up half down and gave an approving smile. You looked amazing. You were sure Crowley would be happy with it. You walked out of the bathroom and went to sit next to the demon.

"How do I look?" you asked.

"Absolutely stunning," he replied and truly meant it.

There was a bit of awkward silence until you spoke up.

"Sorry to ask, but I thought demons were supposed to be cruel and torturous, not kind and sincere like you. So why are you so nice," you asked curiously.

"Oh, well you see, the King had given us direct orders to be nice to you. Of course we follow his orders, but we all happen to like you anyway. You're very fun and humorous. Not to mention very very pretty. All of us keep track on visitors, which isn't too often, and we find you very unique and cool. Does that sum it up okay?" he said.

They found you cool and fun and pretty. Demons were now one of your favourite things about Hell. Never did you think that idea would cross your mind. You nodded your head in response.

"I'm ready when you are," he said. You nodded and stood up, taking a breath. "Let's go then," you replied.

He stood up and walked out the door, you following in tow. It was so weird, walking next to a demon. He was so kind and sincere, and you were beginning to question your understanding of everything. The King of Hell wasn't as nasty as said. Demons were one of the nicest things you had every encountered. Hell was cold. There were such things as hunters of the supernatural. No longer would you believe what you were told, because the past week had told you that your beliefs were actual bullshit. You let your thoughts wander on all of your beliefs and whether or not they were real. You were so busy doing that, you didn't realise you were at the throne room door. You realised how unprepared you were. The answer; extremely.

"Well, here we are. I understand if you want to take a breath before you go in, but i was under direct orders to 'lead you into the throne room' so I will do that. Tell me when you're ready," he said.

With that, you calmed yourself, figuring out how Crowley was gonna play this, and how you were gonna play it yourself. Sassy, nasty, stubborn, shy. You would pick one once you were in there, but for now, you only had one question.

"What's your name?" you asked bluntly. You would have liked to know the name of the demon looking after you, just in case it came up in the future.

"Axel," was his reply. With that you nodded, and he guided you through the doors and into the throne room. But to your surprise, you were not alone with Crowley. The room was filled with over 1000 demons, all staring at you. It was frightening, the feeling of having a bunch of demons staring at you like you were the Messiah, was very unsettling. You felt your cheeks flush red since you realised they had made a path leading up to Crowley sitting on the throne. You hadn't even noticed him until now, but he was wearing an all black attire, as per usual, with a little red rose (that matched your dress) in the pocket. He looked perfect. You couldn't help but stare, and it took you a moment to realise that you weren't the only one staring.

You didn't understand why everyone was looking at you in awe until you remembered what you were wearing. Crowley was looking at you like he had just seen the most beautiful thing in the world. But he soon stopped staring and began to speak up.

"Everyone, this is (Y/N). The one you have all been monitoring," he began, and everyone stare averted you and settled on Crowley. You silently sighed in relief. "As you all know, she was sick of her life, and tried to sell her soul. But I denied it. I instead promised her that she could live in Hell until she was ready to go back to her old life. And she agreed. So I teleported her here, but once we arrived, she fell and hit her head. This resulting in her being out for a day. I tended to her needs until she was better. The next day, I came back to find her sitting at the end of the bed in a cute little black dress. I won't go into details, but one thing led to another and we made love. And let me tell you, she is amazing," he said. Everyone laughed in sync at that, but you only blushed. *Why would he do that!!!*

"Anyway, the next morning I went to get her breakfast, but when I came back, she was in tears and running out the door. I wasn't sure what happened until I found this," he gestured to the book. "This book was written by an ex-lover from 20 years ago. I'm sure you all remember Sapphire Teals." People nodded.

"It was her diary, and she wrote everything. Now I'm not too sure how much (Y/N) read, but it would be something I wouldn't want to read." Crowley stood up and made a slow walk down the isle. "Sapphire wrote everything. And on the last page, which I'm guessing (Y/N) read, was her most dreadful day. She asked me to keep a promise, but I didn't get to answer." He was about half way down the isle now. "She died before I could answer. But she asked me to be with someone special on the day of her death, and repeat the things Sapphire and I did that day. You could imagine what we did. If any of you remember, I only did this for the next three years after her death, but I couldn't bare to do it anymore, because none of them meant anything to me. They were merely a toy." *I should've heard him out!* you thought.

"But when I saw (Y/N), I realised that I had found something special. But she clearly didn't understand the scenario, and I apologise." He was now in front of you. "So, now you understand the truth. I hope you can forgive me (Y/N). I am truly sorry." He announced.

You could only blush in response, you were speechless. But what he said next, was the most unexpected thing you could hope for.

"Your special, kitten. And I love you."

A/N

I"m sorry it was so short, but my computer is stuffing up so I'm trying to write quick before it spazzes out. I hope it was good, please comment on mistakes and stuff. Also, I'm currently writing a proper book that I hope to get published one day. So if the name "Sapphire Teals" pops up in a book you read, just know that the name was already from my book. So yeah, I hope that makes sense. Also thank for over 300 reads!!! You guys are amazing. Happy Reading :)
