Chapter 1: Trespass

It was the first day of the new school year and I was already sighing as if I just came home from a tiring day in school. Before I looked at my new school, I pictured, on my mind, my old life in Gangwon Province. I smiled as I remembered all those beautiful memories. Now, as I stared at my new school, Sejong High, all I can think of were bad things, lots of them to come.

Before, I made a step, a pair of hands hugged me from behind, startling me.

"Yah! What the?!..." When I turned around, you saw that it was my long time best friend, Nam Jihyun.

Although Jihyun has lived in Seoul all her life, her family came from Gangwon province as well. Both our families were friends ever since she and I met.

Screams filled the air as we both hugged each other while shrieking in excitement.

"I'm so glad you're finally studying here in Seoul!" Jihyun told me.

"I know, I know but, I feel rather nervous..." I said as you sighed and looked down on the ground.

"I understand you. Your parents passed away a few weeks ago and now it's just you and your brother. But don't worry! I'm here, your best friend's here! I'll always be here for you, okay?"

"Thanks Jihyun, that means a lot."

"Well let's go!" Jihyun happily said as she pulled me.

"Jihyun! Yah!"

The two of us quickly passed by the gate and walked towards the school. There were other students streaming through the gate as well. Most of them looked sleepy and tired. Others were listening music through their headphones, playing games on their phones, chatting with their friends, etc.

"Once you're all settled in our classroom, I'll give you a tour of the school!"

"Yes thank you but, I have to go the Faculty room. Our homeroom teacher, Sir... ah what was his name again..." I was about to get my phone but Jihyun completed my sentence.

"Sir. K.Will!"

"Right! That's him! Thanks... ah, is that his real name?" I asked her.

"No, no one knows why he likes to be called by that name." Jihyun told with a small laugh.

Once we both entered the main lobby, Jihyun led me towards the stairs. I couldn't help feel more tense and nervous; Jihyun noticed this and showed me a smile to reassure me everything will be alright.

But, Jihyun stopped before she could step on the stairs, and so did O.

"Jihyun, what's wrong?" I asked her.

"Let's back off... We can't be seen by them."

"Them? Who are you talking about?"

"Oh! Well look who it is!"

I looked up ahead and saw 5 people- 2 guys & 3 girls. Although all of us were wearing the same uniform, they looked more stylish and classier than everybody's.

"Who are they?" I asked Jihyun.

"The Stars."

"The Stars?" I was wondering who these people were. When I looked behind, most of the students were all going to other directions and not towards the staircase. They all looked afraid and worried.
