Chapter 32: Digging Up The Past

"I would like to inform you all that since my council's term is ending, elections will be held soon."

That was Pres. Doojoon's announcement to us all when we were all called to the gym.

"I'd like to thank everyone who made my presidency a success. To all the school officials who gave us help and guidance, especially Mr. Kim, the Head of the Student Affairs, Vice Principal Yang & Principal Park, thank you very much. To all our teachers who gave so much support to all our programs and helped us implement it. Lastly, to all my fellow Sejong High students, thank you guys for helping us make our school a better place for all of us and not just for a few. Before I end this speech, I'd also like to give a special shoutout to the Help Club."

"Eh?! Why is he mentioning us?!" asked Woohyun.

Whispers and murmuring started inside the gym.

"Can you guys please stand up?" Doojoon asked.

WHAT THE?!

"Yah! Stand up!" We looked at our right and saw Sir. K.Will. "Stand up!

We had no choice to obey. All 9 of us stood up to be seen by everyone else.

"Everyone, please join me in clapping for this wonderful and talented club." Doojoon started clapping and before long everyone else was clapping for us.

"I don't understand..." said Wonho.

"I think I do." I said.

"This club has my eternal thanks for lifting a very heavy burden not just from the student council's shoulders but from our students as well. From turning our resident Black Roses from bullies to um... the heartthrobs they are now..."

"YEAH!"

We looked behind us and saw it was Minhyuk who shouted. He even stood up with his fist in the air.

"Um... Fighting... Whoo..."

"Sit down!" We saw Kihyun pull him back to his seat.

"Right... um, oh! They even managed to do it again by containing... I mean, helping us end the bad habits of four of our new 10th grade students."

Doojoon looked at where the 10th graders were seated. The 9 of us looked as well and saw Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé & Lisa waving at us rather at Eunwoo.

"Yah!" Eunwoo whispered to me. "Do I really have to go out with them?!"

Before I could even answer, Wonho moved close and said "Yes you have to. It's a done deal already meaning you can't back out."

I was actually seated between these two who started arguing once more.

After the assembly at the gym, Sir. K.Will told us to go to the clubroom first for some announcements.

"I wonder what he's going to say." said Woohyun.

"I hope it's something nice!" said Seolhyun.

"Knowing him, it's probably a good or bad one or even a mix of the two." said Ken.

The door opened and in came Sir. K.Will.

"Good! Everyone's here. I have some good news!" he happily said.

"And there's no bad?" Wonho asked.

"Do you want to have a bad news?"

Wonho shook his head.

"Thought so. Since two more people have joined the club, to Eunwoo and Seolhyun, welcome again, they have approved your request for a bigger clubroom!"
