Chapter 37: The Heart Attack Confessions!

WONHO'S POV

I pushed Seolhyun away from me as quick as I could!

"Yah!..."

"Wonho-ah..."

Then I remembered hearing a "thump" just now and when I turned, I saw her standing a few meters from us. My eyes widened.

What is she doing here?

Did she see?!

No way...

What is she...

I ran toward her but, she started backing off. Fortunately, I managed to stop her.

"Yah, what you saw! It doesn't mean anything! Seolhyun pulled me towards her and kissed me! You have to believe me!"

She wasn't responding at all!

I try to hold her hand but, she doesn't let me.

"Please... believe me..."

Seolhyun went beside me.

"I... I like Wonho."

She slaps her.

"What did you say?"

"I said I like Wonho."

"Thought so."

She slaps her again!

"And he's mine again."

"No! Stop that please!..." I said as I tried puling her away from Seolhyun.

She pushes me away and looks straight at Seolhyun.

"Yah, this has been your plan all along, am I right?"

I saw Seolhyun smirk. "Yeah, and so what?"

"Fine." She points at the box on the gound. "You see that? Use it as your first-day-as-a-couple-cake. Oh and that paperbag contains a shirt, give it to him yourself."

"I'll gladly do it." said Seolhyun. "Is there anything else?"

"None anymore. I hope you have a good day... you... two..."

She gives me a disappointed look before walking away from us as fast as she could. Before I could even take a step, Seolhyun stopped me by holding onto my hand.

"Yah, where are you going?"

I quickly took off her hand from mine and told her "I'm running after my girlfriend! Who by the way, is not you so back off!"

I left her standing there with her mouth open after she heard those words. Running as fast as I could, I eventually caught up with her.

"I didn't know that you would be coming here! Look, I was surprised myself when Seolhyun arrived earlier and... Yah! Please don't cry!" I hugged her from the back as tight as I could but she was trying to shake me off!

"Let me go!" She shouted.

"Please believe me! I like you! Not her!"

She was crying already!

"I love you..." I started tearing up as well.

"You should've thought of that before she caught you off guard just like that!" She shouted at me as she freed herself from my arms. "Wonho, for weeks now, I'm sure you've noticed how Eunwoo and Seolhyun have been trying to keep us apart! I have trust in you but, letting your guard down so easily lik that... How can I continue trusting you?!"
