Chapter 26: From Guilty To Innocent!

Author's Note: As much as I want to make it accurate as possible, I really had a hard time with the trial scenes so I'm sorry if it wasn't portrayed like how it should be. I'm not a law student. HAHAHAHA :D

The next day, at school...

KRYSTAL'S POV

"OH LOOK! IT'S OUR SCHOOL'S BACKYARD'S GHOSTS!"

"HAHAHAHAHAHA!"

"NOT SO SCARY NOW, HUH?"

As soon as Jackson, Sooyoung, Minzy and I entered the school, everyone has been laughing and mocking us! The nerve of this people! How dare they laugh at the queen of this school!

"BOO!"

This student called Sungjae went in front of us!

"HAHAHAHA! WOOOOOOOO!!!! I'M THE 9TH SUPERNATURAL WONDER OF SEJONG HIGH! WOOOOOOO!!!"

"AISH! YAH! GET AWAY FROM US YOU WEIRDO!" I shouted at him.

"HAHAHAHA! Maybe you four are the weirdoes! HAHAHAHA! WOOO!!!"

"Okay everyone! Stop that and get to your classrooms!" It was Mark, a member of the Student Council!

"Oh finally! Some protection from all these losers!" said Jackson.

"You four, quickly, come with me. If you want to continue hearing all these 'WOOOOOO' then feel free to stay." said Mark.

"Oh we're coming with you!" said Sooyoung.

"I've had enough of this nonsense!" said Minzy.

"Aish! Quickly! They're ruining my makeup!" I said.

Mark led us upstairs. Along the way, the students were teasing and making fun of us. At first I thought he was going to lead us to their office but...

"Why are we in front of the conference room?" I asked.

"Please do get inside now. Principal Park, Vice-Principal Yang, and um... the others are waiting for the four of you inside." Mark said as he opened the door.

"Wait what?!"

But it was too late! He pushed us all inside the room one by one!

"Have a good day ahead!" He said before closing the door. In front of us were most of the school officials and teachers as well as Doojoon and Sandara, the President and Vice President of the Student Council.

"Ah finally, you four have arrived. Sit down. Your parents are on their way. But, while waiting for them, let's have a little chat about your backyard gimmick here at night." Principal Park told us while smiling.

"Aish!"

"So yeah, that's it. We're still waiting for Myungsoo's dad to call about the retrial and if they have located Mr. Jo's white car."

"Heol, you're up against someone powerful! Aren't you two scared?" Eunji asked.

"Well, we are a bit but, as we have told you, the evidence we have against him are very compelling. Imagine when they start investigating the money he gave to Mrs. Kang as a bribe and then they see his fingerprints on it. He'll be going down down down." said Wonho.

"We're really hoping for the best!" said Ken.

"But, wait." said Woohyun.

"What?" I asked.
