The next morning I woke in Rhett's arms. He was s] petting my hair gently while murmuring a song.

-Good morning.

I mumble and hide my face on his neck.

-Good morning.

-Did you sleep well?

-Yes, and you?

-Pretty good. Can you drive me to Jess'? I need to take my motorbike and go home. My mum will kill me.

-Sure.

We drive back to Jess' house and I jump on my motorbike following Rhett on our way home. I park at the garage and step into the house. My mum is on the kitchen with Mr. Anderson. "What is he doing here?"

-There she is. Sit down honey.

I sit next to Mr. Anderson and give him a questioning look.

-What I was telling your mum here is that all the work we done during the past school year is pretty advanced. Very advanced for your age. I tried to not make that obvious but you aren't stupid, you would found out sooner or later. It started as an experiment to see how much you are interested in a subject I studied on too. But then I was amazed. I talked to a friend of mine, who is a lecturer at...., Princeton. He wants to meet you and see what you can do. If he is impressed he can talk to the right people and give you the chance to study there. With a scholarship if you're good enough.

I'm stoned. "What is he even talking about? Princeton? Can things really work like that? Is a few discussions and exams enough? Is it legal?"

-Is this even legal? I'm only seventeen.

-Of course it is. If you pass the exams nothing holds you back.

-When is that friend of yours coming?

-He is in town. He is waiting for us on the cafe.

All these seem so fast, wasn't I crying over Rhett yesterday? Didn't I sleep on his arms on the backseat of a car? Princeton? Freaking Princeton? Me? On Princeton? I look at my mum but she is smiling proudly, is he okay with all that?

Mr. Anderson gets up and I follow him outside. We are walking next to each other. I'm lost in my thoughts. What about Rhett? Jess? Link? Cole? My parents? Do I have to leave them and live alone on a country I barely know? "Calm down ,you don't even know if you will succeed or not" That thought makes my blood run on a normal paste through my veins. I relax my tensed shoulders and take a look around. We are already on the centre of the town. I follow Mr. Anderson into the cafe and see a man on his late forties drinking a cup of cold coffee.

He is tall, blonde hair and grey eyes, thin, with wide shoulders. He stands up when he sees us.

-Hello, you must be Maritina.

I shake his hand.

-Yes that's me.

-I'm Mr.Delvin. Now let's see if my buddy was right.

He nodded and gesture me to sit down.

-I hear you are very talented young lady. Would you mind if you solve a system for me?

-I will do my best.

Mr.Anderson seems excited, I on the other hand I'm really nervous. The man hands me an old book, a piece of paper and a pen.

-Page 57.

I turn the page and face a system rather hard. I have only solved two of those in the last few months. I bite my lip and start working.
