After Alexandra's and Sergio's wedding, which was absolutely incredible, the months had flown by, leaving the couple, Leo and Katrina were left in the month of December Katrina's favorite time of the year.
Christmas
Leo couldn't help but be slightly, just slightly, like a sliver of annoyed at Katrina. Every morning she'd wake up and say almost the same thing
"Hey Leo, psst Le" she poked him whispering, using both of his nick names. He grumbled, turning to the other side of the bed
"Guess what today is?"
"Hmm" he said, if he didn't say anything, she'd just get louder
"It is exactly one day till Christmas, how excited are you!" She yelled, shaking Leo
He was very excited, it was yet another year he'd be spending with Katrina during her favorite holiday, seeing her so happy made him the happiest man alive
Today, they'd be decorating their tree with a few of their friends. The reason the wait till later in the holiday was because Leo though Katrina would just explode if the tree and everything was set up earlier.
Plus, it would give him and her a lot of quality time together so they don't rush the decorating. Leo invited some friends over this time to help with the things that had to go higher up. Both Katrina and Leo were fed up with having the star in an awkward place on the tree.
Katrina jumped out of bed and ran downstairs, grabbing a bowl of cereal as Leo dragged his feet behind him, he was extremely exhausted
He rested his hand on her shoulder while giving a kiss on the top of her head as she flinched, she made a noise
He was confused so he tapped her shoulder again as she turned around as grabbed his arm tightly
"I have something to show you, it was supposed to be for tomorrow but-"
She pulled down her short sleeve shirt to reveal a gorgeous and bright yellow tattoo of a buttercup

"Surprise!" She said happily as Leo just stood there with a big smile on his face,
"You like it?" She said, as she grimaced in pain for a little bit, he nodded
"I didn't think-"
"I said I had an appointment a long time ago" she said laughing, he gave her a hug while avoiding her shoulder as best as possible
