Loki x reader ON HOLD

After the feast had ended, people continued to talk and have fun, while some people left.

Loki and I just chatted around. I could see how proud he was of his kingdom, and he kept showing me off to the other men to make them jealous.

Eventually I got tired and went to bed, and Loki stayed behind to finish his conversation.

I fell asleep and was awakened a few minutes later by Loki's arms wrapping around me and my body being pulled towards him. I just snuggled up against him and fell back asleep.

When morning came, I didn't want to get out of bed. I just wanted to lay there cuddling Loki all day. But that wasn't an option. We had a large breakfast with the noblemen who were still at the palace, then Loki decided he wanted to take me somewhere.

"Come on. You'll love it." He says to me, giving me a slight smile. I follow behind him and he leads me into the large garden we have. He was leading me all throughout the large area until we stopped infront of a hedge. Then he jumped right through it.

"Ummm. Loki?" I call to him, only getting a "come on!" In return. I jump through the bush and see a small pond and bench looking over it. Behind the bench is a blooming cherry blossom tree, it's bright pink flowers just starting to show. Around the pond are many different kinds of flowers, some I don't recognize, and some that were from earth.

It's breathtaking. Loki takes my hand and leads me to sit down on the bench with him. I see a bunch of small fish swimming around in the pond, mostly foreign to me, because they aren't from earth.

"I thought you'd like it here, it's a wonderful place to read." He gives me a cute boyish grin, looking proud of himself for bringing me here.

"It's spectacular!" I can't help but smile huge.

He just smiles even bigger. That's when I feel something in my hand. I look down and see a small golden chain necklace, with a shining emerald on it. The emerald has carvings on it in the shapes of swirls and other small designs.

"I hope you like it.. I met a jeweler and had to have it made for you." He slightly blushed. It was cute, I never get to see him like this.

"It's beautiful. I love it." He takes it and clasps it around my neck.

"And I love you." He quietly says, almost as though it was a secret.

Then he wraps his arms around me and pulls me in for a kiss. When we finally separate, due to lack of oxygen, he pulls my back against his chest and we sit there like this for awhile, until it's time to go do our new morning duties.
