Loki x reader ON HOLD

So uh. I did a thing in this and I haven't decided if I'm gonna delete this chapter and not have this happen, or if I'm just gonna go for it. Let me know what you think.

Your pov.

The morning after the party finally came, and we finally got to go home. Loki was giddy all morning until the time came to leave.

As soon as Loki and I were in our kingdom, he ran up to his throne.

"Finally I don't have to see filthy oafs all day!" He says rather loudly. I just roll my eyes. I haven't felt good all morning so I decide I'm going to go lay down.

Throughout the rest of the week I continue to feel ill, so I decide enough is enough and call for the doctor. It's hard enough hiding my sickness from Loki so he doesn't worry.

After checkup

"Well it seems that you are with child." the doctor tells me. All I can do is sit there in shock.

"Congratulations, your majesty." The Doctor gives me a smile and leaves the room.

What am I supposed to do? Am I even ready to have a child? How do I tell Loki? Oh god.

I get up and walk out into the hallway, where I see Loki entering the dining hall. I guess I should tell him now, since he can read my mind and all. But how...?

I walk into the dining hall and take my seat beside him, focusing on the meal and not the information I was just given, invade he reads my mind for some reason.

"Would you like some wine miss?" A maid asks me politely. "Oh no thank you. We can't hurt the baby." I say quietly. Her face goes slightly pale and she scurries away.

"What did you just say??" Loki's fork drops to the table. "You can't hurt the what?"

"The baby." I say looking him dead in the eye as if it's the most casual thing ever.

I can feel him digging around in my head trying to figure out if I'm telling the truth or not. Suddenly a big smile takes over his whole face.
