"Why should Shane take me?" I ask slowly.
"Just because," he says and with that, he hangs up.
I put my mobile back in my pocket.
"What was that about?" Carla questions.
"Apparently, Shane has to drive me home," I shrug.
"I do?" Shane asks.
"Charlie said," I say.
"Ok, I can do that," he nods, "want to go now?"
"Sure." I get up out of my seat and say goodbye to everyone else. We make our way to Shane's car. His car looks very expensive. I would tell you what type of car but I have no idea. I could just check for the name of it on the side but I really cannot be bothered. I'm not into cars. Besides, I have my own way of transport now. I climb into the passenger seat and Shane climbs into the driver seat. I put my seat belt on and Shane backs out of the car park.
"Once you think about it, I don't really know that much about you," Shane states.
"I could say the same about you," I agree. "Want to play twenty questions?"
"Sure."
"Ok, you ask a question we both have to answer. Then I will ask a question and we will both answer." He just nods. "You start."
"Ok," he begins, "what's your favourite animal?"
"Wolf," I answer without fault.
"Wolf," he answers right after me.
I smile. "So we like the same animal eh? Hmm, ok, what's your colour?"
"Uh, I would have to say, orang," Shane answers.
"Blue," I say.
"Ok. What's your favourite subject?" Shane questions.
"Uh, music," I reply.
"For me, either biology or music," he says.
"What's your favourite sport?" I ask.
"Baseball," Shane answers without fault.
"Dodgeball," I answer my own question.
"If you could have any power, what would it be?" Shane inquires.
I already have a power. So I answer with, "powers of the winter elements. Like snow, ice and stuff."
"Mine would be lightning. And being able to travel by lightning," Shane says.
"Cool. What's your strength. Like, mental strengths," I question.
"Concentration. I can concentrate really well," Shane replies.
"Mines probably staying positive. I don't know," I say, unsure.
"Your very strong, Laura. You should know that," he says truthfully. I can tell he's being honest...I don't know how, but it's there.
My heart fluttered at the statement. I smiled, forgetting about the game. I never knew a few words could make my day ten times better.

Before you kill me, I'm sorry about the short chapter. Now, you can throw your potatoes at me. Or whatever you have to throw at me.
Trust me, the next two chapters will be ten times better. I promise. This next couple of chapters I am writing and written, I have literally been waiting before I ever had Wattpad. Or maybe just after getting it. Around that time.
Asterix.
