Lucian said my outfit was the best ever. I don’t know why but I was kind of happy even though I didn’t like it that much. All went well when we headed over to a hair salon. Really, it wasn’t just any salon though. In fact, there was only one person working there, and he seemed to have a little thing for Lucian… His name? Equinox. Yeah he is guy, he’s not the first gay I’ve met and I have no problem with bi-sexual or homo-sexual people.
"Oh, Lucian!" He cheered. "What a surprise?" His bright eyes turned to look over at me. I flashed a small smile and twiddled with my thumbs. I was nervous, really nervous. "Oh, she's beautiful!" He chuckled. "And shy, too!"
"Whatever you do, just don't cut or dye my hair." Wow, how nice of me. Psh. But my impolite remark meant nothing to him as he led me to the chair. He had a job to do.
"I know the perfect style we'll give you for the show!"
I was a little surprised that even he knew about it. As he brushed and straightened my hair, I could see Lucian smiling at me through the mirror. When he caught on to where my eyes were looking, he gave me a quick wink and I forced another quick smile. Equinox crimped my hair and pulled it up in a bun with ease, adding chopsticks to it for the finishing touch. I thought I looked fucking stupid, but Lucian and Equinox were both in awe and showered me with compliments consisting of beautiful and lovely I was. Well now I can look like a fool and be forced into the world of fashion.
‘Anything to get to you, my lovely Alex...’ I thought.
I couldn’t wait to get out of those clothes. Once Equinox kissed Lucian and scheduled his date, Lucian and I headed back out to the shopping area.
“He always does that.” He sighed. “Kiss me, ask me out and then take my money.” I couldn’t help but laugh. I did two of those things, asshole. But I would never ask you out, no way in hell mister. ‘’Would you like to go and grab something to eat?’’ He asked.
‘’Okay…’’ I said as he grabbed my arm and we started walking.
‘’You’ll love fashion.’’ There is no damn way I’ll ever love it, not after everything I know.
‘’I’m not so sure about it.’’ Why the hell did I said the truth now? That’s bad. When I’m with him I keep telling him things that normally I wouldn’t tell others.
‘’But I’m sure you will.’’ He said giving me his killer smile.
‘’Do you wanna stay here to eat or at the park?’’ He said once we were in Mac Donald’s.
‘’Out.’’ I said, I wanted to be alone as soon as possible. As soon as we ate I said I had to leave because it was getting dark out, so we bid our goodbyes. I watched him with anticipation, waiting for him to be gone. And when he did, I sighed with relief and ran. Ran as fast as I could with my belongings.
