It’s dark and 11th of July. I am in my bed ready to sleep after my birthday night is finished as you can say. I’m under the covers with tears in my eyes, praying that today he forgot what day it is. That today at least I would be left alone to sleep. That today at least he won’t make me regret having him as a brother. But then the door opened.

I couldn’t turn to see if it was him but as soon as I heard the sound of his belt and the clothes falling to the floor I was sure. Once again my living hell wouldn’t help me for at least forget that damned day every month, 11th. I didn’t ask to reach Heaven, but only for him to forget about it one time. He got under the covers and turned to me touching my breasts…And my eyes shot open. It was just a fucking nightmare…!

God, was it hot, and I knew this as so because of the fucking sweat dripping down my neck and forehead. I sat myself up, rubbing my crusty eyes and scratching the back of my crazy cascading hair that as all knotted and in waves. The lipstick that I had on my lips must have smeared, because when I opened my eyes and regained full awareness of the world, a short, plump bald man looked at me.

‘’Something on your chin.’’He said. When I rubbed at the area, he laughed, only to drop his cigar and start hacking and wheezing like the strange bastard he was giving me the impression of. And then, he spoke again. "Well girl what the hell are you doin' out in these sort of places like that?"

I knew that if I answered him, I'd end up laughing at him, and I was a bit too paranoid about discovering any consequences at the moment since I was vulnerable. I was in a tired state and had a bad neck cramp...definitely not helpful for self-defense. I guess he figured out that I was not going to respond after a while, so he get off the black duffel bag his fat ass had been hiding and pulled it open. My heart skipped a beat. I was not about to have a gun pointed at my face like before.

Thankfully, what he had was not a gun. Instead, the bag's contents contained a numerous amount of past demons. Past demons that, even after medication, I continued to struggle with. Past demons that had led to the death of my first and possibly only close friend I had ever gained. Past demons that led to the start of a long, dramatic fight between Alex and me. Oh god, did I want it! I wanted it more than anything, I wanted it to just take away the pain. Inside the bag were needles full of dosages, little baggies with powdery surprises and nature's seeds with special tools to find new ways to enjoy them, and an intriguing little white circle kept in a black bottle. I knew it was Ecstasy, because surprisingly enough, John used a similar bottle to keep the comfort pill in.

"Here doll…" He snorted. "I'll let you take it all for free. You look like you need the stuff, and quite frankly, I'm not in the mood to get in a rumble with the cops again." Before I could react, before I could speak, the bag was in my hands. I was left with the power to control each treat's destiny...
