Irene's P.O.V.

"Can the both of you just stop talking for a minute?!" I suddenly bursted out. Who would've remained calm if your siblings are bickering over a very nonsense thing? They should really learn on how to control their mouth in talking, it pisses me off literally. Just because Wendy was late in our practice she just kept on telling Jarred at he's at fault, I mean why would they bicker over a very light topic?

Anyways, I glared at Wendy through the rearview mirror and then back at Jared who was still busy driving the car. They stoped talking for a moment so I just kept my gaze on the view outside, but I can feel them also glaring at each other through the mirror. Something's quite strange actually, our parents told us that Jared and I are twins but why don't I feel any bond with him? Like a sibling bond?

"It was your fault" Wendy spoke, I looked at my watch and literally! She literally stopped talking for a freaking minute!

"I didn't mean literally" I groaned as I rubbed my temples, I am freaking stressed at the both of them! Why do they quarel too much? It's like a dog and a cat was thrown into a small dungeon and they instantly starts breaking each other's neck. But then I remembered, Jared was driving but he was looking at the back... then who is looking at the front...? I immediately raised my head and looked at the road infront of me and a man who was wearing a hood suddenly crossed the street.

"Why are you even-"

"Jared watch out!" I shouted, lucky for us, Jared immediately steps on the break and the car halted before we could even crash this weak man down on the ground. My head almost hitted the glass window because of the suddenly impact but luckily, I was wearing a seat belt. My heart was beating irractically when that scene appeared on my mind again, I took a deep breath and placed my hand on my chest before I opened them again and saw the man staring at me.

"What was that?" Wendy asked, I guess she's also in shock. I mean, what if Jared really hitted that man?

"Slater?" I heard Jared breathed out, I looked at him in confusion. What is he talking about?

"Slater? Slater Song?" I asked as I looked at the man infront of us, he was breathing heavily. But he was looking at me. Right into my eyes.

"I'm not sure, wait here" Jared said as he unbuckled his seatbelt and went to check on the guy who he think is 'Slater'. Somehow, his eyes really reminds me of Slater but I'm not sure.

"Slater" Then my eyes widened when I realized that it is really Slater, the captain of the basketball team. I breathed out when the man suddenly fainted, Jared carried him while placing the man's arm on his shoulders.

"Let's just stay here, we don't know what's happening" Wendy said to Jade as the later is also in shock and confused.

"Wendy, Jade, move to the back seat now" Jared oppa said as Irene unnie went out of the car and walked towards us, Zoe and I quickly transfered at the back seat while Irene was holding 'Slater'

"Jared, he's burning, we need to take him to the hospital" I said as I placed the back of my hand on top of his forhead, he was burning and it seems like haven't even took a bite of a bread.

"Jared" Then out of the blue Slater suddenly spoke with a very weak voice.

"I can't Irene" Jared oppa looked at Slater through the rearview mirror before he shooked his head

"Why not?" Wendy asked, She's right, what if Slater's in trauma? Or what if he needs to have medical treatments? Why doesn't he wants us to take him to the hospital? He's not unhealthy last time, we need to take him to the hospital!

"I'll drive him to his house" Jared shooked his head, what happening here?

"But Jared-"

"I know what I'm doing Irene" I stopped talking when he suddenly raised his voice, I don't understand. Jared isn't getting mad that easy, but now, what's happeing to him? For sure this has something to do with Slater, speaking of him, I wish nothing would happen bad to him. Slater suddenly held my hand and squeezed it for a bit, he has some energy left but I know that he's already feeling drained, I suddenly felt sorry for him. I wish I can do something to help him from being vulnerable like this.
